Take advantage of them being sloppy on the ball in their own half of the field and punish them.

This is my issue with Pep. This ^^^, yet we persist. Maybe one day everyone we play will get amnesia and it'll start working again.

Hes just come off a season where he was one of the best players in the team. Plenty of players have played under the same manager for big parts of their career and succeeded.

Hes highlighted on the scouting report in a way he never was. He needs to develop his game.

Hes been mediocre this year, but the entire team has so it's not like he stands out.

We’ve played with a tempo much better than recent months. Doku has had Alexander-Arnold on toast and Savinho has been bright.

For all of Liverpool’s dominance in the PL and Europe so far this season, they’ve looked extremely ordinary and we deserve some credit for that.

They look anything but ordinary today. Some games you have to defend and absorb pressure in games to win titles. Slot knew that we would come out all guns blazing after our tepid performance in Madrid.

I have a feeling there's going to be plenty out of the door in the Summer, both ones who want to leave and ones that don't.

I make it 12 players that need to leave, and even that doesn’t include Lewis & Akanji who I’d keep purely as squad fillers for the short term simply because of versatility in the even of a crisis situation. So it’s clearly going to be another poor season next season as we can’t shift and replace 12 in one summer. So we’re looking at 2 more summers and realistically need to shift 6 minimum this summer.

Ordinary and are 2-0 up. That sums us up atm. Liverpool haven't looked great all season but they are clinical upfront and have a strong central defence and energetic midfield.

Have bought a lot better than us, I’d even have Nunez up front for us today, at least he would give the CBs a battle.
They recognised their issue the other season and bought 2 top class Cms with pace and energy. We just bought another slow one despite his other abilities.
Also they seem to have far better conditioning coaches, set piece coaches and players who look like the practice

They look well organised and look like a team. We don’t.

Gifted them a goal lead and other than Doku and Savinho doing something individually, we can’t sustain any pressure on them.

De Bruyne and Gonzalez have been really poor in midfield. They should both be hooked at halftime.

We’ve been crying out for a mobile midfielder all season and I’m afraid Gonzalez isn’t that. He’s slow.

Another 50mn on a second rate midfielder after 100mn on Phillips and Nunes. If anyone wonders why we’re struggling, it’s because we aren’t buying quality

Really. Currently we are doing worse than Villa and the mighty Wolves. I will be happy if we can keep the score down tbh. Hard to say how good the Dippers are the CL looks most likely to yield an answer to that question as the league is turning into a procession.
