What is with Foden consistently passing the ball back when his at the top of the box. Not once has he turned?? 3/4 times he received the ball at the top center of the box and just passed it back and kill the momentum. Doesn't try to hold up the ball at all and doesn't control it just passes it backwards.

Yep - Tiki-Taka has had its time - Pep's revelation has been worked out and I really doubt with a single season to come he can develop his own tactics to radically change things. City need to forget about looking for players and look for a new coach
Our 17/18 team playing exactly the way it did then would walk this league. Pep’s 2011 Barça team even more so

When the quality is sufficient it doesn’t matter if it gets “worked out.” Everyone has “worked out” Salah is going to cut inside on his left foot and shoot, doesn’t seem to prevent him doing it

When our full back is beaten 12 times in a match (like TAA today) , we let three or more goals in. Can't believe we are so toothless, considering all the dangerous situations we theoretically must have created?

Like opening up the game by not letting the opposition score, knowing that they have more impetus to win the game.

Yeah I know first goal becomes a bit vital. But I'm out of ideas myself about what we should be doing differently at this point. There's so many back, we have to try and go round, but they block all crosses and block any shots.
