The weird thing is that his passing ability has declined even more than his legs. Has completed about 2 passes in the final 3rd in both games vs Madrid and Liverpool. What is Pep thinking?

Not his fault in any way, shape or form, and he is a genuine City legend… but his race is run.

One our all time greats who will get a statue and maybe more honours.

But his brain is writing cheques that his legs can’t cash.

He plays like a statue these days.
Sad to see him like this.

I'll bet you Pep is going to bench him for a couple of games and than start against the rags or something and he'll look like shit, that's basically what's been happening with him in the last month.

His legs have completely gone. He's also playing with no confidence and it shows, because he knows he's no longer what he was. It's just sad that his last season with us has coincided with us being utterly dog shit. He deserves a better send off.

He's always needed a run of a few games to get into form.

Bit harsh that mate, and disrespectful.

He’s trying, but he just can’t do it physically anymore. That’s the sad truth of it.

Realistically he should have gone at the end of last season, but he’s not alone in that.
It is. No question hes in the list of citys greatest ever players. I cant count the number of times hes made me gasp at his brilliance.

Him playing in this shape and form is doing him a massive disservice. He looks like a pub player. He has the effort and he doesn’t hide which is credit to his professionalism but Pep needs to bite the bullet and stop playing him, at least from the start.

Pep is the one writing the cheques. Hes been as lost as any of the players this season.

We can't keep wasting a spot in the lineup in the hope that he suddenly makes it happen.
No, I agree. Especially if his body is now so unreliable. I'd love him to come good, and it's a hard watch at the moment.

His best game last season was at Newcastle, the first after the injury.

Plus, he has been fit recently. He doesn't start every game only because he isn't in form. Starting him against two of the strongest teams in the world was a mistake.
