Jesus Navas changed his positoin from RW to RB when he moved to Sevilla and was one of the best RB in Spain for a while.

Madrid are using Vascez or whatever his name as full back . and I sure there are many other examples.

My perfect choice will be Adama Traore, just let him play as RB . He will be free agent in summer and can match Kyle Walker performance imo.

No one can run past him, he can dribble and cross. He just became 29

Instead of splashing +60m for Cambiasso, I would rather keep that extra cash for the such of Wirtz and whoever has the talent to be a match winner player.

Ive been pushing the Adama Traore as a RB for nearly 6 years now :)

Dont know if its going anywhere though :(

Guess that's the same as any other transfer though (and tbh we know we have plenty of deadwood on the way out). At the end of the day, if he's deemed better than other players who are non HG, it shouldn't matter that he's using up a non HG spot despite being club trained.

Frimpong is the answer if this is your point. He’s like a winger that plays RB/RWB. 90% of the time we are in possession, pressing up the pitch it’s not a issue having Frimpomg at RB but we have to be aware of the break and his defensive abilities.

Frimpong is a winger/full back hybrid. You don’t have to buy a winger and turn him into a defender that’s already there. That’s my point.

Adama as RB is a terrible take but I sort of get where you are coming from so used Frimpong as an example.

Personally I think it will be Cambiaso.

Swear pep turned navas into a rb at city
 
Im kind of hoping the new guy in charge, was it Viana?, can find some good RB prospect who is promising that alot of people never heard of.

Because ill be honest, some of the names dont excite me.

Frimpong, while I rate, is more winger than fullback (Leverkusen sometimes play with wingers and he playa there).

Cambiaso is more LB, but also needlessly expensive. Also, I think he is good on the ball but defensively he looks so meh.

Surely there is a better profile, fairly strong, fast, good on the ball, so can invert or go wide if needed.

We've had several of the top RB prospects in the club for several years and for some reason never gave them a chance.

Going to take something very special it seems.

Its a little weird to me that we had Walker, Couto, Kabore, Lewis and Akanji at the start of the season and now appear to have nobody at all.
