Thought you played well first half. Should have been 2 or 3, that's usually the case when you play us, but you sometimes forget the shooting boots.

Second half we played well, Ederson made a good save. I thought the Uzebeki lad looked top drawer.

No real complaints about the score. We gave it a good go and it wasn't to be. I'm sure your fans appreciate a team that likes to attack you rather than park the bus.

Hopefully get you back next season!!!!

Not been as angry about a referee performance for a long time .. he was a disgrace.
Frustrating that we dint put it to bed first half, but I’ll take it and move on as some more momentum builds

Game of two halves. Just got home. I think we were really good first half but it was Spurs fired up second half. Cracking match tbh.

It still hurts! I'll never forget that Thursday night at and outside Wembley. The fighting with spurs fans everywhere. Getting home late morning on the Friday abd the feeling of utter despair when my Mam woke me up for school. I just turned over and said i'll go in at dinner time.
I didn’t get a slap from any spurs but one from my dear old mum for calling them cunts.I still have nightmares of that hippy fucker dancing into the box.

Its laughably, guilty because they couldn't prove it neither innocent or guilty....

But it's not even that is it. To my eyes it wasn't handball, in fact, it was either a pen or a goal. Rarely seen a decision so backwards.
The trouble is the referee guessed it was handball, difficult to disprove it with the replay. So as we all should be aware by now VAR support their on-field colleague. They are answerable to nobody and until we get an independent VAR with no connection to PGMOL then nothing will change. It is a shitfest and whatever Webb would have you believe nothing has changed under his control.

We lost the midfield when Gonzalez tired. Thought his substitution was 10 minutes too late, or was Pep taking the gamble of pushing to get more minutes into him.
Bernardo got a couple of good tackles in and was as keen as ever but he just can't carry the ball any more.
Savinho played well in the first half apart from his miss. His decision making went to shit in the second.
Doku was electric at times in the game. Had the fullback on toast. He would have had 4 assists if others had done their job.
Refereeing was a bit shit all game. Ref went for the safest option. Disallowed goal was pure incompetence from both the ref and the VAR.
Khusanov is a fantastic find. Hope our scouts have got a few more like him for the summer.

What annoyed me about it all the was a clear handball from the 2 spurs defenders. Disgraceful VAR.

You could see the tiredness in the second half specially Haaland, Savinho and others. They had a much younger team which helped their case. I think the lack of CL games and the weekend rest (for some players) will do the team good. Nottingham (away) is a 6 pointer, need a win there.
Also felt Marmoush was a bit off but Khusanov was really really good. Also can't forget that they did us 4-0 at ours and they looked pretty good then, all in all considering that its a decent result and performance

This. Doku was really upset at being called offside on one occasion, and instead of getting a replay it cuts to Thomas Tuchel in the stand.
I noticed that. I said to my wife I want to see that again. Then she said who is that bloke with aids?

think they're saying that the ref called handball straight away? then the var couldn't conclusively say he was wrong so the onfield decision stood.

suspect the spurs handball was deemed accidental.

but it certainly felt like, its city find a reason to rule it out.
Yeah but the angle the ref was at and the speed at which it happened plus the fact even VAR couldn't rule it one way or the other its clear he's just guessing.

The first Spurs player actually moved his upper arm toward the ball which then went on to hit the other defender's raised arms so why couldn't VAR have just told him to look at it himself? Its a ridiculous flawed system made even worse by these inept referees.
