It’s not the worst call once they cleared up
that the ref didn’t give it in real time. So the “inconclusive” evidence wasn’t there to over turn it.
It’s toss, but not the worst call.
What is obvious when you think about it - I hadn't - is that it was either a goal, or a penalty. If VAR managed to analyse it to death to find a handball by Haaland, they MUST also see the same or worse from the defenders. To give neither a goal nor a pen, just shows it was bent.

Nunes - there is a player in there somewhere, but his final ball is almost always a shambles. He’d be useful if he got his head together. One minute I think he’s doing well and the next he’s a mess. Mixed bag again last night.

The trouble is the referee guessed it was handball, difficult to disprove it with the replay. So as we all should be aware by now VAR support their on-field colleague. They are answerable to nobody and until we get an independent VAR with no connection to PGMOL then nothing will change. It is a shitfest and whatever Webb would have you believe nothing has changed under his control.
The ref was told to call the handball before the Var check started, he waits until haaland kneeslides in the corner before blowing - if he saw the handball he would blow straight away

That is him in a nutshell. He lends you a tenner no questions asked then asks for 20 quid a minute later. but I tend to agree with you that there is a player in there. I thought he worked really hard defensively yesterday and his physicality is a bonus.

Very young away end going off mcfc lads Youtube.

Great result but a classic game of 2 halves. City's wingers impressing regularly.

Doku, Marmoush, Haaland and Savio running at you with pace is the stuff of nightmares for defenders.

Get that midfield sorted and a quality No10 and will will be getting back to the good old days of hammering sides.
I wonder if we see Echeverri in that 10 slot soon?

But that's the whole point!! What is excellent about could have scored four. We didn't score them due to poor decision making, poor through balls and poor finishing. You could make a case for us being excellent if their keeper had a worldy, but he didn't. We made the mistakes thus cannot be described as excellent.
Spuds have had some shite results this season and had we gone in three up at the break the crowd would have turned on them. The reason we had to pull our collective tripe out for 90 minutes was due our failure to make the early dominance count. I know we chucked away a three goal lead v Feyenoord, but we are better than we were then and Spurs are fragile mentally.
Had we actually been excellent we could have cruised through that second half and saved some energy.
Excellent is the football we played..not every chance ends up in a goal ..

He’s shit mate.

We shouldn’t be coming out with all these “if” posts every time he plays.

Didn‘t know of already mentioned, but now I know, why Khuasnov looks so young, look at his birthday, it‘s a leap year, so he celebrated his actual birthday just 5 times in his life. IMG_8857.png

Up to him, if he comes in and impresses in training he may well get a chance.

If not he will be sent out on loan for a season, the club WC may well be a huge chance for him, same goes for Reis.
