Disagree. He knows more than most and has remained balanced from the start. I don't think he's spouted any BS. If we're found guilty, we will almost certainly be relegated - that's not too controversial.

He's repeated himself several times that the charges may not be proven and as such we'll be innocent, in which case the PL will face major repercussions of their own.

Don't mind Kieran Maguire at all. Of all the journalists or media personalities worthy of criticism, I wouldn't be rushing to have a go at him.

When something FACTUAL AND ACTIONABLE comes out, then maybe his “expertise” will be valuable. Until then, he’s flying blind…like the rest of us!

Of course he's flying blind like the rest of us, but at least he's had the decency to mention this is a difficult case for the PL to prove and they might not be able to. Others have us hung, draw and quartered already.

You could argue the same of Stefan. Maguire has answered the question what would happen if we are found guilty. Stefan and all the experts on here would give the same answer.

Maguire isn't the problem. The article selectively quoting him is the problem, so just ignore it.

Maguire is getting a lot of shit, but the “journalists” are selectively quoting him (just as Talksport have done with Stefan) and dreaming up clickbait headlines.
Looking at his comments in full he’s always been balanced/fair to City.
It’s the media that’s the cunts here !

A lot of his stuff is very balanced, he's clearly knowledgeable, and I enjoyed reading his book, but Football Insider has got to be one of the worst sites around for click bait headlines.

Given he's been involved in the site for years, and was one of the main "insiders" when it first started getting big, I don't think he can blame anyone if his words are used for other click bait articles.

Would it be a difficult case to prove because there is no evidence being produced, indeed no evidence whatsoever to back up their charges. If he is the expert perhaps he could say exactly why it is a difficult case to prove not leave it like their is evidence but the PL cannot access it. He is being quoted because he is willing to comment on it and allow himself to say what they need.

Yep, these people are hedging their bets. As I've said in another post, it needs to be asked, if they're experts, why a lot of them didn't foresee the CAS verdict, or why, for 17 years, they never discussed the PL allowing owners to lend themselves interest-free loans.
