PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Before long they will dig up an EU finance law expert who will disclose that EU commissioners have the power to impose severe penalties including transfer bans, relegation to the Luxembourg National League 3 and stripping of titles.
Jamie Carragher will invite the guy (a University of Sheffield undergrad) onto his podcast to discuss.
And once again, the know-nowt masses will lap it up.

Gotta admit I'm getting fucked off with all this shit slinging from all quarters , tebas , media , other clubs , other fans , people who don't even follow football but have 'heard what's going on' I'm sure the people in the club that are dealing with it are just as pissed off but at least they are getting paid to deal with it IM paying for the privilege! As a supporter I nailed my colours to the mast 45 years ago and I have 1 request of the club ... once this is over (and I'm basing this on us being 100% exonerated as our chairman said we are) WE TAKE EVERY FUCKING BASTARD CUNTING ARSEHOLE THAT HAS SAID ANYTHING AGAINST US TO THE FUCKING CLEANERS .... thanks for listening I feel much better
Will be like the scouring of the shire...

It’s not bizarre from their POV. Their subscribers are of the red persuasion, they are the ones that the PL contracts have been built upon. City, and the likes of Newcastle, are an existential threat to their model and the sooner they can shut the ‘new comers’ down, the better it is for the cartel to resurface, back to their prime Top 4.

This isn’t about sport, it’s all about who makes the most money.
It's always about money.

Unfortunately for the media and rival fans the case will be judged on facts not clicks opinions and playgrounds.

Everyone is getting ready now aren’t they? A matter of weeks rather years or months now.

It will be nice to hear from Khaldoon a bit earlier than normal. I think he has some things to say….

Club must sick to the back teeth, I don’t think they particularly care about teabag on a personal level but it’s just another voice trying to cast shadows over our great club.

I think they've always been very resolute in their stance of "we'll get found innocent where it counts and everything else is just noise".

It's pretty telling that while waiting for a verdict on accusations that could relegate the club, they've spent 200m in the transfer window and extended the clubs biggest star's contract throughout his prime, and there isn't a single relegation release clause to be seen. Not to mention they're expanding the stadium.

27th Feb must be City haters day or theres something blowing in the wind.

Started with Steve Parish and his thinly veiled critiscism of potential regulatory oversight, but its not the PL's fault apparently, its litigious clubs that are to blame. Then the fascist, Spanish, jealous, racist pig, schnozzer Harris, the disturbed, vitriolic obsessive and his straw man creating, nodding dog cohorts, then Lieu and Wallace, all had their two penneth today, all given half an hour each prime media time coverage to slag us off, the fucking muppets.

I really hope the club go after some of these fucktards if they step one inch over the line when we're cleared of these fraud charges.

That today was clearly orchestrated to fill the media with anti-city propaganda. I'm unsure if there was some integral reason for it that I'm not aware of but I won't accept that it was coincidence.
There is no such thing as co-incidence in the media. Most stories start with some sort of leak or release from someone. Timing is everything and, apart from disasters and freak events, narratives are pre-planned.

why does this repeated cr*p from the Spanish whingebag not result in litigation from the Sheik? Is it not corporate defamation? (or whatever the legal term is in relation to companies)

Also this new "leak" attack from tebas is from 2 years ago and makes you think why ? maybe the noises are that we have done nothing wrong and this is a new angle of attack on our club , tbh its getting fucking ridiculous now

“Majik beret” at your service……

Just don’t try & get me in the same room as 2 others…..

I had to transfer my flight via Abu Dhabi last week. There is not a single promotion of City. I walked all around the terminal building. Not one thing whatsoever. I remember being in Phuket Thailand in 2017 and the airport was full of Leicester City advertising.
Still is.

1. Does anyone think he actually HAS submitted a complaint? Has he fuck. He is just saying it in a forum environment where he knows it will be heard and repeated and become the talk of headlines, and he may never have to back it.
2. Even if he had, like it would be taken seriously or have any substance to begin with. When was the last time the EU commission interfered with a business because of a complaint by another business.
3. The fucking irony, that after years of suggestions that we would/should challenge the uefa ffp rules as they contradict EU competition laws. Only to be told that football is an isolated bubble with its own rules we all choose to subscribe to. That someone from said bubble would even think of then going to the EU commission to argue competition laws, is one of the most laughable things I have seen in this whole saga.
4. The desperation of our media to turn a throwaway bitchy remark into headlines, with zero context, analysis, discussion of merit or any real breadth, shows where they really are with all this.
A single source story where the source is one of the least credible people in the football industry. And no one in the media has checked the story before running it. The BBC have just lifted it with no balance or context. The media in this country has collapsed essentially. It is impossible to trust.

What annoys me is city have never told sky or any of the media that we are not state owned and you can see who owns us if they took the time! It's like it's international!
The accounts have been audited and published for decades. Sheikh Mansour now stands accused of boosting our Etihad sponsor revenue with his own money. He wouldn’t have to do that if we were state owned because Etihad itself is state-funded. You can’t have it both ways. UEFA and the Pl have never said we were state-owned. It is fake news from those who wish to damage our club.
