The whole thing has been an orchestrated smear campaign from the start. The accounts have been audited and published for decades. Sheikh Mansour now stands accused of boosting our Etihad sponsor revenue with his own money. He wouldn’t have to do that if we were state owned because Etihad itself is state-funded. You can’t have it both ways. UEFA and the Pl have never said we were state-owned. It is fake news from those who wish to damage our club.
He’s made some big accusations which he hopefully has strong evidence to back up cause a time will come when he has to.why does this repeated cr*p from the Spanish whingebag not result in litigation from the Sheik? Is it not corporate defamation? (or whatever the legal term is in relation to companies)
Pretty sure he will have got one of his staff to churn out a letter but as it’s such a ridiculous premise, I doubt it got a response hence his “reminder”1. Does anyone think he actually HAS submitted a complaint? Has he fuck. He is just saying it in a forum environment where he knows it will be heard and repeated and become the talk of headlines, and he may never have to back it.
It is fake news. The EU legislation was brought in in summer 2023 and applies only to state-owned businesses. The UK is not in the EU, City are not state-owned, and in any case the allegations against City all relate to a period years before 2023. The story does not even have a comment from the EU confirming it. The BBC have published it without even doing a cursory check on Google.Essentially a non-story but still has pride of place on BBC sport homepage. Racism in plain sight.
And then spit on him.Jamie Carragher will invite the guy (a University of Sheffield undergrad) onto his podcast to discuss.
I feel the general media will allow itself to be clearly organized to get whatever they can from the 115 etc that has served their purpose over a few years.I read the piece and have just skipped the next 40 page's.
Old news,more regurgitated nonsense.
WE MUST HAVE THE WON CASE,and this is their fall back position.
Only got to overcome the court of human rights now,and we are done.
Charade from start to finish, to discredit our name
There is definitely a lack of confidence in the UK media. Whether it is based on anything other than fear of being wrong is not clear. The narrative has changed to “the PL can’t prove their allegations” Apparently it is all our fault for having good lawyers. A bit like the false time barred narrative at CAS which ignored the Judges’ comments stating there was “no evidence” eleven times.I'm starting to think that the news leaking to the press isn't what they wanted to hear. There's something afoot, and now they have to scramble to a misdirection in order to keep the narrative alive.
When I asked Stefan if the panel had arrived at a judgement with regards liability he said he believed they had. That’s all I need to know.I'm starting to think that the news leaking to the press isn't what they wanted to hear. There's something afoot, and now they have to scramble to a misdirection in order to keep the narrative alive.
When you get the likes of Talksport openly ridiculing Tebas for his latest outburst of bovine effluence then you know it’s a fuck nowt story.
I think Tolmie said he's had 2 letters previously, perhaps the fact that he's a lawyer makes him think he's smarter than he is?why does this repeated cr*p from the Spanish whingebag not result in litigation from the Sheik? Is it not corporate defamation? (or whatever the legal term is in relation to companies)
It didn't stop them from running the story though. When you get the likes of Talksport openly ridiculing Tebas for his latest outburst of bovine effluence then you know it’s a fuck nowt story.
It’s the BBC who are the major disinformation merchants nowadays they make a big deal of their fact checking but that seemingly doesn’t apply to the Herbert’s in the sports department.
I think any comments by the BBC about state funding are to be taken in the context of glass houses and stones. When you get the likes of Talksport openly ridiculing Tebas for his latest outburst of bovine effluence then you know it’s a fuck nowt story.

Fat lad Brazil and fat lad rag Crooks were saying fat Facsist cunts who reside in glass covered housing really shouldn’t be throwing stones and that club are unconcerned. What was said? & by whom??
