PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The smacks of word getting out we have been cleared on 115. They are now scrapping around to desperately try and find any dirt they can.
Pure brand damage exercise - constantly keep city under suspicion/investigation. I do wish the club would take a more robust position with things like this.

Sky sports updated it and now it's into it's 2nd day.
We never had this much coverage when we won the treble.
Sky sports are run by the red cartel.

I have a feeling the media know we're innocent and this is them getting their city hating stories out for one last kick in our bollocks before we start pulling these red cartel run wankers.

There is definitely a lack of confidence in the UK media. Whether it is based on anything other than fear of being wrong is not clear. The narrative has changed to “the PL can’t prove their allegations” Apparently it is all our fault for having good lawyers. A bit like the false time barred narrative at CAS which ignored the Judges’ comments stating there was “no evidence” eleven times.
The good lawyers argument does the premier leagues lawyers a disservice. They both have good very expensive and competent lawyers. The key difference seems to be city actually listen to theirs whereas the premeir league disregard and do their own thing such as the initial press release etc.

This is almost like a transfer story.

We are signing a player, it's all agreed yet at the last minute the media throw out a headline that said player is signing for another club. Player arrives at city, headline complete bollocks.

This is what we have now. Nostrils harris and his wankers, sky sports yellow ticker tape, you'd expect twat magic hat and Herbert to have some regurgitated shite ready for release.

They've heard we've done nothing wrong. Absolutely.

On the other hand, it might simply be the realisation all the cards are about to be laid on the table. I don't think the BBC would've released those podcasts unless they knew an announcement was imminent. Delaney has also changed tack, focusing more on state ownership rather than fraud.

Yes so good they have that plastic scouse Melissa Reddy as their chief investigating reporter lol.
Senior reporter I'll have you know. Strangely, I've never seen anyone described as a junior reporter or even just reporter on SSN. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever seen any description given to anyone but her. Surely must be in her contract?

Migs has made a career on state ownership, he knows fcuk all about football.

Tebas uses City as a deflection from problems in Spanish football. Real Madrid are in open conflict with La Liga because they want special treatment. The head of Spanish football has just been convicted of sexually assaulting a women’s player. Quick let’s get a Man City story out to divert attention. He will keep doing it as long as City continue to do nothing about it.

So six years ago the Irish dwarf was all over sports washing city then it was grand corporate fraud and now it’s state ownership he needs to make his mind up.

A single source story where the source is one of the least credible people in the football industry. And no one in the media has checked the story before running it. The BBC have just lifted it with no balance or context. The media in this country has collapsed essentially. It is impossible to trust.

Tebas was a speaker at the Business of Football conference in London and that was where he said what he said, I suppose. It certainly isn't new news, but I suppose it's worth a mention.

Just out of interest, has anybody heard anything from that conference other than to do with City? It should have been a very interesting conference if it wasn't populated with know nothing journalists and tosspots like Tebas and Masters.
