Anyone getting one to one language lessons every day will pick up up pretty quickly . He should be ok by the time next seasons comes around to communicate with teammates

Football has its own vocabulary too, there’s probably only a few hundred words he has to learn to understand tactics and team talks, the bigger challenge is learning enough to feel at home living in the UK.

Pep may consider resting him for cup game as he is probably our most important defender now.
I for one liked his debut. Basically thrown in two days after arriving in the country.
A mistake that was not entirely his fault.
But after that, you could see the determination in him. Fouling a Chelsea player. It felt like he wanted to kill someone but in a calm controlled way.
Thereafter he performed well.
But I like how his team mates rallied around him.
But a Tesco carrier bag for his kit.
This guys a city legend already but won’t know it yet

Can’t say enough good about the lad. Our best player at the moment. The way the media have tried to convince everyone he’s had a bad start does nothing but prove their agenda against us.

It’s absolutely mental. He had a disastrous first 10 minutes of his city career but has gone from strength to strength in each game since. His mental fortitude is incredible for a young lad and his talent is clear to see.

Compare how he’s judged v Tront who got rinsed the most times ever in a prem game yet is “world class”

I like his defensive mentality

He goes to Kill at the attack

Other defenders tend to prefer to slow the attack and wait for others to help them

As his game matures I think he will learn when to reign some of that in. Looks great when he gets it right and so far when it goes wrong he has shown good recovery pace to get back and have another go (or maybe I'm just a worrier and will have to get used to it like having a ball playing goalkeeper and playing out from the back !!)

I feel that I will start to love Khusanov more and more, you can tell he loves the club already and he gives his heart and soul. Tough start but already settled in, what a player.

He looks great. Early days though and still a lot of effort to go on and off the pitch. He needs to learn enough English to be able to be coached.

I read somewhere he turned up fir the spurs game.
No wash bag..tooth brush fuck all.
Just ready to play.
Think we're gonna love this lad

I think Reis will get 90 minutes tomorrow with Dias, Ake LB and give Gvardiol a weekend off.
