Rest as many as possible, we need to think medium and long term, we must make top 5 this season and some of the players looked fcuked.
Villa playing CL on Tuesday have put out a strong side.

We should play our best XI not bugger about.

Plenty - I actually praised City fans before on here, but was attacked, which surprised me.

I merely gave my opinion about the Charity Shield and the European Super Cup, how is that taking a pop at anybody?

I love City, and I enjoy most of the stuff on here - whether I agree with it or not.

Which posts have been snidey? I can only think that you must have been reading them selectively, to back up a gut feeling you have.

I honestly don't know what a I've said that is so offensive? Maybe I should start calling everybody a c*nt all the time - would I fit in then?
Start with me sir, I say you are a Portsmouth fan and a rag :-)

Does not make it right though.

I think this is the perfect time to rest the lads who played a full game v Spurs, should have enough with the others if not then so be it.

We need to get back next season and the CL is a huge part of our ability to do that. Would love to be at Wembley in May but that will be forgotten very quickly if we are fcuking about on Thursday nights next season.

Will be interesting to see what team Pep starts with, I can see Grealish, Gundo, Lewis and Reis getting some game time. Looking forward to this, decent weather and early evening kick off and 8000 away fans should be a good atmosphere..

I’d love to see the future of the City backline out there tomorrow with Khusanov and Reis.

Give Gvardiol a much needed and deserved rest, play Aké left back. Lewis right back.

I’d also give Haaland another rest and make sure he’s not putting too much on that knee injury with two games in four days.
I have the same back 4 to start but I moved them around. Khusanov right back, Lewis left back Reis and Ake centre back, I want my senior centre back in the middle guiding the others and controlling the line.

I think in those days the pitches were just natural grass, which would soon turn to a mudbath as the weather deteriorated, whereas these days they are a synthetic mixture of allsorts. I could be wrong, just a guess.
I used to love playing Sunday morning on grass pitches. Can't find them easily now at amateur level, five a side pitches are generally synthetic.diff bounce diff game, still football, but not the natural ball on grass I grew up with.

Playing for City supporters club , we'd play 'away'' in the late 80s on all manner of boggy pitches,Bradford was prob the worst, but every home fixture was at Platt lane ,on the synthetic full match pitch, looked very posh compared to other clubs,at the time.,

Looking forward to this game, as my Dad (80) is coming along. He’s not been so well since Christmas time, but more like himself the last few weeks. I casually mentioned, do you fancy going a few days ago.

Watching the game in person will do him good. It was 1981 when we both went to Wembley. Feels a bit like similar - I’m taking him this time.

All I want is an entertaining game and a City win.

We have to take it seriously and win.

But... I still want Gvardiol and Savinho to get a rest, they have played TOO many games in a row.

Play O Reilly or Ake LB.

McAtee/Foden RW, but inverting (like Marmoush did on LW) and let Nunes hold the width on the right.

Every time my lad comes back from school and takes his trainers off, there are little bits of rubber everywhere.
