Got
Did it all run as advertised mate?

An hour and 10 minutes before kick off, should be plenty of time but it doesn’t leave an awful lot of leaway for late running/ bad traffic.
Got to the ground at 1430…..not a lot of people on it but should imagine it will increase.

train cancelled as per usual so i am going to try this today. How long after the match finishes do these usually leave?

M9X to Flixton via Trafford centre goes a complete bizzare route on way back.
Surely it's easier to go via Talbot Rd then through Trafford park not onto the one lane into regent rd Salford?

got the M10 to Sale; excellent service. The driver got a round of applause by using a bus layby to bypass a red light. Best move of the day on and off the pitch.

Where does the 15x for dale leave from after the match? And is it full? I read people who've bought a return get spaces held for them, so if it was full coming there won't be room for me and my son as two singles...
Thinking of trying it in March - my other half usually picks us up but he rants and moans the whole way about traffic, and even our son has had enough of him and the negativity.
But I'm a worrier, and we're normally last out of the ground, so if we miss it or it's full I'm buggered! Wouldn't use it going, just coming back after the match.

its not been full either games last week was a single decker and yesterday was a double decker, majority get off in Middleton, never seen anybody turned away for it being at capacity, some get returns and some get singles , it does normally leave 25 minutes after full time and picks up opposite McDonalds on Alan Turing way

Looking at options to travel to the game from sale tomorrow with 2 kids and my dad and never used these buses

Bus 10 looks like the best option, couple of quick questions...

- is there always space to get on (Sale west)? don't want to risk waiting for a bus that might turn up full and then have to drive...
- how on time is the get away after the game? we're sat in east stand 3rd tier, with 2 kids and walking through the crowds might be pushing it to get there 25 mins after the end of the game (especially considering a loo stop will likely be needed!)

cheers!

My lad normally needs a toilet stop after the game, pretty sure you'll have plenty of time.

Good afternoon,

Yes, there will be space for you to get on at Sale West. The buses do depart exactly 25 minutes after the final whistle but fans do find this amount of time enough to get out of the stadium and on to the bus in good time.

I will be monitoring the inbox today so if you need anything feel free to drop me a message at matchdaybus@tfgm.com and I will be happy to help.

Have a great day!

What time will the bus from Middleton Bus Station leave today for the game please?
And where do you get the bus going home to Middleton Bus station.
Thank you. :-)
Hi EB this should tell you all you need to know. What 3 Words will give you precise locations too :)

Enjoy the game

My lad is going today with his friend on the Sale bus and they're in East stand Lvl 3. You should make it back to the bus with time to spare. Only thing that's worried me recently is that they seem to be alot busier on the way back as people who get the Metrolink don't want to queue up for it going home. Is there any way that buying a return ticket on the way out can guarantee you a place on the way back? Or is it not possible to see how many return tickets were sold on the way out?
