Tebas is pissing in the wind
Thats the answer , my friend.Tebas is pissing in the wind
Also until then we probably want it off the back page as much as we can........we've been on the back pages ever since the BS was announced ffsI respectfully disagree (although PR is all opinions and how you think it will play out, so not uncommon for people to have different views and no-one knows who was right as not all scenarios play out).
They are looking for another headline and anything Pep said would be twisted and used against him.
The best time to strike at the time of strength and our strongest time will be after a not guilty verdict.

I expect this has already been agreed and I wouldn’t be fully surprised if City’s press officer was the recipient of the wink after Pep answered it in the way discussed.
But how does that fit with UEFA rulebook etc aligning with Swiss law? This is all we know so far, afaik (from Cunningham, i sports):
"City have a lot of companies in their group which lie outside the City Football Group structure, extra companies where they put their expenses,” Tebas said.
“These other companies lose the money but not the club itself. We have reported Manchester City to the EU. We have the facts and figures.
“We asked for City to be checked. It’s very important that all clubs are subject to the same transparency rules and governance on both the sporting and financial side.
“The City case is one where we believe they have put the losses on the companies that are not officially part of City Football Group.”
I suppose he could be talking about Fordham, for example, and any other things like that (if such other things exist) but that is peanuts. I can't imagine the EC wasting any time on that sort of immateriality. And I doubt he has facts and figures any more than UEFA had facts and figures. Anyway, we will see in due course, I suppose.
Did we cheat on the pitch ? Pay off refs ? Match fix ? Then how could any of our achievements be called into question ? As rags and scousers told us after our takeoverI say to anyone who says that to me to go and ask Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri, Aguero… even players of other teams if they think that the success is hollow and there should be an asterisk. Frankly an embarrassment to question these guys achievements which we will forever rightly celebrate, guilty or not !

First, Cunningham is a proven liar and bad-faith actor who seeks to undermine our club. This should be reiterated when any report of his is quoted.
Second, to the extent that he quoted what Tebas has supposedly said, the arguments are simply embarrassing. That's unless City have created a multinational group of companies purely to dishonestly offload MCFC's losses.
Can any serious regulatory authority really believe that? Can any serious observer take Cunningham's report seriously? Not a fucking chance, based on information in the public domain.
And the vile **** knows that. It's trouble-making bullshit. File under ignore, unless or until something more reliable emerges.
I'm sure I've also read UEFA rules and regulations that incorporate EU law. Even if it would appear logical that CFG clubs operating inside the EU zone are subject to EU law, I'm not sure it's simply a matter that City are not because the UK is no longer in the EU. For UEFA to be able to do business in the EU zone, it has to comply with EU law, but it is also applying that compliance to members based outside the EU zone and for activity that does not take place in it. It sounds very one-way and hegemonic. As UEFA is based in Switzerland, why shouldn't EU based clubs have to bow Swiss law, even if, as you say, it's closely aligned with EU law anyway? It's a UEFA competition, not an EU one! How legally sound that is and whether it can be challenged, I don't know. Not that it matters, I think, as CFG operates in EU countries through some of its subsidiary clubs but I am pretty sure from my time in Switzerland that Swiss law and EU law are closely aligned due to the various trade and other agreements between them.

Given Ziegler's "enthusiasm" for all legal issues relating to City, it's worth noting that the Times hasn't yet mentioned the Tebas allegations at all.First, Cunningham is a proven liar and bad-faith actor who seeks to undermine our club. This should be reiterated when any report of his is quoted.
