Can he play left back?
There isn't one.What's the purpose?
Where are you?is upon us.
it will start either this evening or tomorrow evening,
depending on the moon.
i have to say, generally, walking around today,
there seems to be an impending look of doom on a lot of faces here in maroc.
during daylight hours they cannot let anything enter their system.
that must be difficult, especially if you normally smoke fags.
and daytime the cafes are usually full of people drinking tea or coffee.
once the sun sets in the evening they will eat breakfast.
maybe have something before bed.
then get up before dawn to fill up (usually with moist food) for the day.
the only place alcohol is allowed to be served is in tourist restaurants/clubs at stupid prices.
all the offies and bars have already closed.
i know muslims who drink alcohol,
they say they will suffer for the first 3 or 4 days then it will be okay.
and apparently their intake of hash vastly increases.
i doubt very much i could manage to do it.
Where are you?
i live in essaouira.Where do you live in Maroc mate? Visited loads of times always dreamed of moving over! Would love to hear more of your experience. Do you feel able to integrate and feel like a normal part of society?
i believe i have the definitive answer,My daughter just said no Muslims drink alcohol as it’s against their religion. I said loads do, she said well they’re not true Muslims.
Welcome to religion.
I wouldn’t say here is a Muslim country quite yet.i believe i have the definitive answer,
as told to me today...
verse 16:67 of the quran states that wine is a blessing from god and muslims can drink it.
there are other verses, however, that say getting completely pissed up all the time is a bad thing,
so some muslim clerics focus on these verses and say drinking it whatsoever is wrong.
5mins from where i live there are 2 off licences.
they are full from 10am to 8pm with muslims buying booze,
excepting fridays and during ramadan.
i know of 4 other offies and they are exactly the same.
the carrefour supermarket on the edge of town sells booze.
it's mostly foreigners, like me, who shop there but there are muslims too.
the alcohol section has a door which is closed on fridays and in ramadan.
if it was wrong for muslims to drink then why is it being openly sold here in a muslim country?
the wine i drink is grown in maroc and of a high standard.
the vines were left here by the french and the spanish.
hope that clears things up.
i shall open a bockle and check the team news.
cheers to all the drinkers on here! x
I wouldnt care a fuck if it wasI wouldn’t say here is a Muslim country quite yet.
And on the off chance the big guy in the sky exists, he'll be pointing and laughing at how some people interpret his wishes.Giving up crisps for 40 days or the likes.
Chocolate maybe, if you’ve got real willpower.
Who is ??You sad man.
My view of it all as an atheist is, there are about 3000 different religions in the world. The people who describe themselves as religious only support 1 religion. So conversely, they are atheists for the other 2999 religions. So statistically as they think 99.99% of other religions don’t exist, that makes them atheists just like me.And on the off chance the big guy in the sky exists, he'll be pointing and laughing at how some people interpret his wishes.
I've been to Essaouira after been mithered in Marrakesh and getting on the bus after a few days. Much more relaxed and stayed in a lovely riad on the edge of town but still near the coast as the gulls divebombed me a few times at breakfast.i live in essaouira.
do you know it?
a fishing port on the west coast.
i have encountered no problems whatsoever with locals.
they are, in the main. extremely warm and friendly to me
i choose to live outside the medina because it is touristic.
where i live is 99.9% locals.

The hashish is definitely worth trying mateI've been to Essaouira after been mithered in Marrakesh and getting on the bus after a few days. Much more relaxed and stayed in a lovely riad on the edge of town but still near the coast as the gulls divebombed me a few times at breakfast.
Got offered hashish (no), opium (no) then women (no) the only time I walked through the main drag (medina). Good long beach for walking on and exfoliating your feet in the sand.
Probably, but I would have no idea how to puff it unless it was pre-rolled haha. The hashish is definitely worth trying mate
