President Trump

This is similar to what I think Malta were up to some time back - Maltese passport for 5m Euros. Buyers were mainly Russians.
Several Caribbean countries have been selling citizenship for some time. It offers handy widespread visa free travel for those from countries whose own passports don't give them that privilege. Think Russians and Chinese.

Dominica - US $100,000 one off payment or $200,000 invested in local business.
St Kitts & Nevis - US $250,000 invested in local business.
Antigua & Barbuda - US $230,000 'donation'.
Grenada - US $235,000 minimum investment.
St Lucia - US $240,000 minimum investment.

They also allow someone to get citizenship for an additional 3 dependant family members for one fee. Dominica is raking in so much money with this scheme that it now exceeds the revenue from its domestic tax base.

Everyone else was dressed more formally in suits and dresses. Did anyone complain that Churchill was in his "siren suit," which was little different from a aviator's jumpsuit? Was he wearing it to emphasize the wartime footing of his nation, in which normal notions of formality should be cast aside?

When Churchill visited the White House in the winter of 1941-42, his sartorial choices were indeed the subject of commentary. Life Magazine published a brief feature on Churchill's siren suit, which attracted great interest when Churchill took a stroll in the White House Garden with Harry Hopkins and his daughter Diana, President Roosevelt's dog Fala, and his naval aide, Commander Charles Ralfe Thompson. Churchill boasted of the suit's practicality, remarking, "I can get into it in half a minute." In all, Churchill seems to have been pleased by the publicity.

Churchill's siren suits were of his own design: one was made by his Jermyn Street tailor, Turnbull & Asser, from bottle green velvet. Others were made in burgundy and Air Force blue. With breast and side pockets and generously cut, the siren suit (though the rest of Churchill's staff referred to them as his "rompers") was designed to be donned swiftly out of convenience should the wearer suddenly be forced out of bed by a German air raid.

As for the fate of Churchill's suits, his grey wool pinstriped siren suit was sold at auction in 2002 for the princely sum of £29,875. Another made out of velvet is on display at Churchill's home Chartwell, complete with a pair of his monogrammed slippers.

Trump lashed out at Zelenskyy today after The Associated Press reported that the Ukrainian leader said a resolution to the conflict with Russia is "very, very far away."

"This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelenskyy, and America will not put up with it for much longer!" Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. During their ill-fated joint meeting on Friday, Zelenskyy expressed doubt that the war could be ended through diplomacy, as Russia has broken ceasefire deals in the past.

Trump added, "It is what I was saying, this guy doesn’t want there to be Peace as long as he has America’s backing and, Europe, in the meeting they had with Zelenskyy, stated flatly that they cannot do the job without the U.S. — Probably not a great statement to have been made in terms of a show of strength against Russia. What are they thinking?"

Thing is, it’s not the US, it’s this current fucking Administration
That's as maybe, but at the moment I'm thinking about all the previous shit they have "exported" to the world too. Shit culture, shit "interest" in other regimes, just a load of total shit.
I apologise to our American friends on here and I probably need a lie down to be honest. Life is sodding hard enough at the moment and this isn't helping.

It's the current Administration, plus the people who voted for whatever this is.

I'm not saying every Trump voter, because a lot of them were either too stupid to understand the consequences of their vote or voted on a single issue (predominantly border security). Although they do bear a share of the blame for not taking the time to be informed about exactly what they were voting for.

It's those who voted to 'own' the libs, or those who voted for the obviously racist immigration policies, or those who voted because they knew a Trump win would allow them to grift, scam or otherwise make a truck load of money whilst knowing the majority of Americans would be worse off. They are the people who own it, and it just might turn out to be the stupidest thing they've ever done.
