Russian invasion of Ukraine

Gaslighting cunts.

By the way, maybe Starmer realises what he is, but he’s got to keep his powder dry while Europe tries to prepare for the inevitable.

This **** is a Russian asset.

How can anyone not now see this?
Interesting that many high up in the UK military were telling us for some time that we would need to step-up, that this was coming.

That could only have been the ‘risk’ evaluation if there was intelligence to suggest Trump would side with Putin.

Starmer has played a blinder in all this and, I’d say, in my humble opinion, he’s been briefed accordingly and is aware of the play.

Trump is playing games to get the rare earth minerals cheap, it’s obvious to me he puts out a tweet he’s stopped aid, then later he says it’s not done yet. Method in his madness straight out of Musks playbook.
This is exactly it. He's obviously promised his boss Musk that he'll deliver on the mineral deal, and cut Putin in on a side hustle.

Because Zelenskyy, rightly, doesn't want to sell his country's assets off cheap without a cast iron guarantee from Trump, he's told him where to go.

Everything now from Trump is white noise, gaslighting, lies, smears and bullshit because he can't get his own way.

Meanwhile, Putin in Moscow rubs his hands with glee because he was beginning to lose his own war and Trump has thrown him an unlikely and unexpected lifeline.

I think Zelensky’s days are numbered now. This relationship seems beyond repair.

I don't think Zelensky makes much difference one way or another.

Ukrainians have a choice: die under occupation or die fighting occupation.

Trump will support Russia regardless of the figurehead in Ukraine.

Could the EU and other Allies overcome Russia and maintain peace without the States.

My gut feeling is yes
That was discussed in the house, someone asked if the PM had words with Australia Canada and all the other countries helping Ukraine, Starmer said “ he had and they were going to continue to help Ukraine. The only fly in the house was Farage he was berated by several MP, because he left early.

What do you propose, he steps down ?
Who takes over, his 2 i/c , what happens if the shit gibbon doesn't like him ?
Perhaps Trump should tell Ukraine who he wants in charge, he'd have to ask Putin but a quick phone call would sort that.
Trump cannot be allowed to decide who a runs country. Zelensky was democratically elected.

I don’t know but this isn’t repairable for me now and it seems there is only going to be one winner.

The problem is that the US has the most powerful armed forces in the world.

Europe on the other hand is strong together but how long will we stay together.

Makes sense why Musk is trying his best to get ADF in power in Germany, Tommy Robinson in UK and pushing for extreme right wing governments across Europe.

Europe wouldn’t be united, they would instead be aligned with MAGA.

I think it is repairable. But either way, Zelensky shouldn't have to step down to appease Trump.
Either way, Ukraine are not winning this war. This best they can hope for now is a deal of some sorts but it won’t be a good one for them. They will end up giving up land to the Russians and minerals to the Americans. I don’t think they can win. They have been stitched up.

I don’t know the answers. It just doesn’t look good for him. I can’t see how their relationship can be repaired.
So you keep saying, but Zelenskyy isn't the President of Ukraine because Trump likes or dislikes him; he's there because the people of Ukraine elected him in a democratic election.

Hopefully Europe can put them in a stronger position, either for a negotiated peace deal or to hold out against Russia.

America can go and fuck themselves.

If Ukraine is going to get stitched up as you say, there's no need for Zelensky to step down.

Things have got very real , people theorising what would happen if the Baltic states are attacked , would NATO react in kind ?

What would happen if the Uk was attacked ? Would we be confident that the US would step in ?

Imagine a scenario where Russia does a preemptive strike on the UK and takes out faslaine naval base ? What would the US do ? What would we do ?

I'm not sure you've got the hang of this thread. It's overwhelmingly pro-Ukraine and not really a place for doom-mongers.

Maybe you should reflect that Putin's "special military operation" was only going to last for three days? That was over three years ago.

Since then, he's managed to take barely 20% of Ukraine and lost part of the Kursk region to Ukraine. Casualties will hit the million mark in a few months and he will run out of tanks within six months at best, maybe sooner, plus he's had to call in North Korean troops.

He still hasn't won and it's not even a given that he will, nowhere near. Even though Ukraine have been stitched up. You're right about that. You just need to read the room and be a bit more positive.

I see Lindsey Graham, supposedly a pro Ukrainian Rupublican has cut his own balls off and handed them on a plate to Trump.
