President Trump

This is the man that phoned the Chinese on January 6th to tell them there was no danger basically he wouldn’t let it happen, Trump calls him a traitor and took his picture down on the Pentagon, I pray there are more like him just in case.

Bad choice of albums, it's pretty dull and very long.

America has given us plenty of great stuff in music TV and cinema though. Can't be argued. The rampant capitalism and the American dream has infected much of the planet unfortunately.

It's not like we had much of a choice. America have pretty much done whatever they want.

We should never have let our military aviation manufacturing industry decline so badly.

The cancelling of the TSR-2 set us back decades.

They only come out when you make some type of factual error — often a hair-splitting one — or when a Democrat does something off kilter so they can say “See? Both sides are the same.”

Shocked none have come in to discuss the congressman who got booted from the address last night. “Didn’t you lot criticize MTG for braying loudly during Biden’s speech? Hypocrites!” Normally they jump on things like that; they’re all so smart.

Narcissists hate criticism and opposition, as we all have been witnessing in the Oval Office.

The logical pattern would be that the dictator limits and shuts down oppositional players and institutions one by one. It doesn't make any sense for him not to.

Because he wants to lead by strength, and so he will do what he can - just because he can.

There's a brilliant German doku "Berlin 1933" (1+2) on YT that shows the breath taking and brutal pace of Nazi takeover written like a diary. Communist party was forbidden asap, Social Democrat Party by summer. Media, school, uni, unions, til the state was completely forcible-coordinated. Then it's too late.

We should expect next steps by the trump regime.

MTG and Bobo were like a pair of wailing banshees at Biden's last SOTU, and they were widely cheered and congratulated by their own party.

The fealty towards Trump by House and Senate members has essentially handed him full control of both the Executive and the Legislative branches of government. With the 6-3 Supreme court majority, and a number of those members looking increasingly compromised (certainly Thomas, Kavanaugh and possibly Chief Justice Roberts) he pretty much has the trifecta, which was never the intention of the framers of the Constitution. The separation of powers exists for a reason.

If you add into that the distinct possibility probability that Trump is indeed compromised and controlled by at least one foreign power, then I'm afraid the clock is ticking on the US being a functioning democracy.
