PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

What nonsense. Firstly, there will always be another story. Secondly, I've made almost nothing from the City case - there has been very little more to say for years beyond what I said on Day 1.

Of course fans of other clubs want us to be guilty.
This case has brought you to the attention of a vast number of people that would normally have never heard of you, I have zero issue with that but many in the media have jumped on the City guilty bandwagon and HAVE made a living out of it.

Anyone know if we win and our legal expenses are paid by the prem , can that be counted as income towards psr/ ffp?

Ironic if so!

As it happens, all the Talksport stuff came from what I said about Chelsea, then Everton etc. Asked about City over time of course but a lot less frequently than you think.

And who has made a living on the City case out of media work (putting me to one side)? I can't think of one person.

I did not mean stories of the actual judgement , that will be a huge story for all but in the last two years livings have been made on the rumours of our guilt and downfall.

And if you think the club if cleared entirely will allow anyone to continue with the abuse I think you will find Lorn Pannick will be signed on permanently.

I’ll leave this as last reply to avoid clogging the thread.

If you didn’t mean stories about the judgement then it doesn’t matter whether the rumours are positive or negative - they will still be clicked on.

Also, there is a difference between abuse and a void in he press. The club may not allow malicious and inaccurate reporting. But that doesn’t mean this won’t be talked about consistently in the press for years to come and allegations of our “guilt” still be published.

If you need evidence of this, then you only need to look at Tebas recent comments about CAS which happened three years ago.

People need to be realistic.

Maguire, Delaney , BBC etc etc, it's a daily incessant commentary, come on the agenda from day one has been incredible, and our Spanish mate Tebas, the fat bastard can't wait to spill his wrath.

The UK media will be absolutely gutted if we are cleared and do you honestly think they would remotely show any remorse to our club and ownership?

Just noticed Pep press conference is at 2pm it's always been around 12:30 maybe nothing probably is but I don't know?!
Early kick off aswell so it’s strange.

Crack out the Cubans. Pep walks into the press conference, sits with an huge grin all the while enjoying the carnage.

That is a good spot. It's always earlier.

I would love Khaldoon rocking up alongside Pep with a daft smile on his face at the presser.

None of those people have made a living out of City's 115 charges which didn't even happen until Feb 2023. It has been a topic to cover.

BBC? [eye roll]
