I would be interested in both the evidence for this and its longevity. Please post the former.

But the point is about blaming immigration for problems and offering simple solutions.

In reality, the US is dependent on immigration, and a border crack down will not stop it.
 
Oh, I see the collective bargaining agreement with TSA was just simply cancelled by the Trump admin. Supposed to run thru 2031. Of course this is illegal and will be challenged in court. But I wonder how the nation would fare if 40,000 TSA workers went on strike.

Once again, hurting as many regular people as possible.

Not to mention the likely correlation with economic growth — and I’d bet especially construction. If attempted crossings decline because the economy goes to shit, should we celebrate that?
 
I notice that the spokeswoman for Trump says that illegals are criminals by definition. This is not so: entering the US without permission or documentation is not a crime, but rather a civil offence for which the remedy is deportation.

Listening to the 5 Live show, where housewives were mentioning the cost of eggs, i was stunned with the fact women were voting for trump and the absolute fact of him being a rapist had no bearing on their decision

Perhaps they have all realised it's a fucked up country and El Salvador is a much safer place to bring up a family.

These issues are polarising and unfortunately if there are two options on the table then you should go with what you believe and for many that led to Trump. That's not a problem, it's called democracy. But otherwise yeah let's just call every American fascist because they dared vote for the guy who seemed to give them what they voted for.

The Democrats have been calling their fellow Americans fascists and racists for the last 10 years and yet here we are with a 2nd Trump term. Is it not time to learn and maybe put energy into a plan that finds answers to questions?

I doubt anybody would suggest 77 million people are fascist, but they voted for one. Just like 17 million Germans weren't when they voted for Hitler in 1933.

Sure, he'll be more effective on cutting immigration numbers, if that's what does it for you. But he'll abandon every western ally and align with authoritarian regimes, lay grounds for some form of invasion to Canada/Greenland, erode all opposition (both politically and in the media) and change/ignore the constitution to ensure he stays in power post 2028.

You'll probably call this sensationalist bollocks, but it will happen. If anybody genuinely thinks he'll participate in some form of fair election in 2028 and move on if he loses, you need your head testing. It aint gonna happen.
