I believe Trump is right in eliminating "woke" and "aliens". However, he simply does not have the foggiest when it comes to global politics and the amount of countries and states that provide the base for the U.S.
 
The Democrats definitely are partly responsible for allowing the Republicans to win. When Biden won his term there was lots of talk of him having a few years and then handing over to Kamala due to his age...

Despite the signs that his age was going to cause him issues they let him carry on too long. And by the end the choice to replace him with Kamala made the whole party look incompetent. They also threw Kamala under the bus as she didn't have time to properly get her views across or do a proper campaign.

I can understand why lots of people wouldn't have voted for the Democrats and instead abstained from voting or voted for an alternative other than the Republicans if that's possible (?)

What has happened in the States isn't about logic, it's about identity.

MAGA don''t give a shit about the likes of FogBlueInSanFran, what's important is what hurts the likes of FogBlueInSanFran, that's what's important, it's more than that it's great! Deep, deep, really deep they despise what he stands for, they're taking their country back from the likes of him.

Trump is a monumental arsehole, his rambling incoherent speeches, his appalling performance as President, and yes in the end the rubber hits the road and he's found out, nevertheless he keeps rising from the dead and the only way to understand why, is to realise that despite his obvious shortcomings, his unsuitability to lead the most powerful country in the world. he knows how to tap in to that visceral hatred.

Huge sections of American society simply despise each other, Trump knows that, that's why he wins.

Watching Sky news and you see what you are up against, his supporters think everything is fine, not arsed about Ukraine and when information Trump is giving out has been proven to be bullshit they just shrug their shoulders and say oh well others do fake news. It’s why he’s constantly on TV in the Oval Office if you bombared people with all this shit enough of it they will believe, until it starts hitting their pockets and losing their jobs they just don’t care.
