Football in the sunshine today. Hoping for a win and a good performance, fast start and moving the ball about quickly and preferably forwards.

Fantastic, hope you both enjoy it and the team put in a good performance. Women's games generally have a friendly atmosphere and you can get quite close to the players

On Chelsea - they're a wonderful side no doubt, but Christ they've had very kind draws all season.

6 draws now - every single one at home against a kind opponent. The only time they'll leave London is for the League Cup final and they haven't come across a single fellow top 5 team in the WSL until the final itself. A remarkable leg up.

Their draws this season
League Cup
QF Durham H
SF West Ham H

FA
4th rnd Charlton H
5th rnd Everton H
QF Palace H
SF Liverpool H

At seasons end when they've likely swept the board and won the lot, the question "just how have they done it" will be partly answered by the above. Never playing away, ever - playing only 1 other top side in either Cup.

Have we any idea when the fixture date/details are confirmed for the Cup Semi? I may have a slice of that game - assume itll be sunday 13th with City at home to Palace on the Saturday. Or maybe perhaps a double header with the Womens Derby at 5.30 at the Joie Stadium, with City due to kick-of at 12.30.
