It wouldn’t surprise me if there is a feasibility study taking place to see if the Dreadnought submarine design can be modified to launch a European alternative to Trident missile (the French have their own I believe) with the UK designed and built warheads. One thing’s for sure it will be eye wateringly expensive to do but we may not have a choice.

As a narcissist, Trump thrives on adoration. So he's going to be ultra focused on the stock market and opinion polls.

But he can't help himself. He'll continue to threaten and then withdraw tariffs because he's a bully and because he thinks that the threat of tariffs gives him negotiating leverage - meanwhile he ignores the impact of uncertainty caused by his whiplash tariffs tomorrow/just kidding approach.
