I think the story is is we've been shit this season apart from in one game and all of the players hate him.seems a bit harsh. I wonder if there’s another story lurking in there somewhere
Won't he be the successor?Pep will be shitting it
Sounds like Pep with the football & Mancini with the players! The football has been absolutely turgid for sometime now & this obsession with constantly recycling the ball clearly not working.
I'd also add his record of falling out with players has probably done him no favours either.
Really? 4th in the league and most of the players clearly can’t stand him.
Didn't think of that.End of March would have done. But unfair on someone to come in and face this next run of fixtures. Can't say I am sorry he is leaving but as you say the timing is odd
Shit ! Frying pan to the fire.Oh dear, how sad, never mind.
Welcome back Nick and good luck.
Not if they want to actually win them. They should have waited until the FA semi & the LC final have been played.
I think it's the CL that is causing most concern. We would need a Barcelona=esque Ist leg performance to outdo CFC women. We have the players, and with a bit of luck, bounce of the ball and rub of the green . . . . . . . . .!It does seem odd timing but maybe the board think the only way to get a result in the league cup final and the champions league is to part ways. I’m delighted. The quality of football has really gone downhill this season and the girls deserve better. We’ve got a squad that can push for the title, not one that’s failing to quality for champions league as things stand.
Last sentenceIn the words of the man himself.....
"Gooood"
I actually applaud the timing tbh & hopefully it can act as a pickmeup for the remainder of the season with the reigns now coming off.

What makes you think it’ll be made permanent? Just a hunch? I think it’s time we go out and get a real statement manager like Chelsea did with BompastorThought it'd be the end of the season but doesn't surprise me one bit. No secret I know some former players and I've not heard many good words said.
Also doesn't surprise me that we've gone 'in house' again, albeit temporarily (but I can see this being made permanent). On the plus side, Cushing was known for getting the best out of the team by being a support to they players and building good rapport and connections as opposed to Taylor who was a bit of a dictator and wouldn't bother even speaking to anyone outside of his planned starting 11.
Expecting to see a pretty immediate lift in mood & spirits.
Oh and I'd be massively surprised to see Chloe Kelly play for us again. Out of contract and not much desire from either party for that to change.
