Smoking in the ground south stand tier 3

Absolutely pal. One thing I was grateful for was that I only had to put up with one or two years of smoking in pubs before they banned it. The smoke mushroom over the pool tables makes me feel sick just thinking about it.

The stench on your clothes the following day. Absolutely vile. Even though I was 18 I can remember my grandmother confronting me thinking I'd taken up smoking as it was that bad when she was doing my washing. Hate the bloody things.

Same. We’re probably a similar age.

Used to hate coming home from nights out stinking of fags. The smoking ban was a brilliant idea. It’s a disgusting selfish habit. How anyone can enjoy smoking is beyond me.

I quit in 2017 after losing my grandad to lung cancer, nothing puts you off better than watching a loved one waste away on hospital bed.

You really don't want that for yourself, I know you can get cancer other ways that don't include smoking, but if you can eliminate one of the big causes, you really should.

But that said life is about the choices we make, if someone wants to keep putting that shit in their lungs that's on them, that's also why I avoid the "smokers toilets"
 
Before I quit drinking, the state of the bogs at City did my head in. Thankfully I don’t have the need to use them as frequently as I did. On some occasions, you’d even have some horrible fuckers having a stinking shit in the coke stalls. I’d only go in for a pick me up, and it’d be a miracle if some fucker hadn’t clogged it. Disgusting behaviour.

I know of somebody and their other half died of cancer. They smoke like a trooper and I'm pretty sure they've got emphysema. Great guy, but can barely walk 50 yards without getting out of breath. Terrible cough.. so much so that their eyes are almost bulging sometimes. Really wish he'd knock the fags on the head. If not for himself, for his son.

the stewards do nothing I have emailed the head of the stadium security who said more or less they have tried and they just wont do anything about it

its the same season ticket holders going in there doing it every game its a joke its thick thick smoke little kids having to go in there while this is happening is a disgrace.
Its been like this since the 1st game the 3rd tier was open.

I've even seen the smokers tell the ageing stewards that if they say or do anything they will knock them out

I asked why the smoke alarms don't go off again just deflected replies from the club all while there are massive screens saying if you are caught smoking you will be banned??

Anyone got any email contacts that i can go higher to at city would be a great help.

If City are not doing anything about it perhaps contact the Smoke Free Compliance Line at 0800 587 1667.

Send a picture of a cloud of smoke and say he's behind it. They wouldn't need any more evidence than that. A smoking gun.

My dad buys the packets that say smoking can harm your unborn baby. It’s good to know there are cigs that are male-friendly. Not sure everyone is aware of this, hence posting.
