How many points to win the league?

We haven't got it in us to go on a run like we have in previous seasons

Unless we get 3 or 4 players in, in the positions we're crying out for, who all hit the ground running... and we get all our injured players back (except Rodri who we know won't be back)... we are going to drop points on a regular basis

Even if we win every game left we'll finish on 88 points, which probably won't be enough

I wouldn't be surprised if 88 is enough.

I would be amazed if we got 88.

I think the best we can hope for is to put a run together, and then see what we can influence in that brutal run in February. It would be nice to see how Liverpool cope under pressure at least.

We badly need 4 signings at least. An RB, 2 midfielders, and a goal-scoring winger.
I doubt we will sign more than 2 though

We'd need maximum pts to get 88.

The way we're playing I think we'll be lucky to hit the 70pt mark

Within 12 points and we play Liverpool at home. Think we have the slimmest chance supposing we invest in January. Hopefully Forest can do us a favour. Maybe I’m being delusional to think there’s still a tiny chance. Performances haven’t been there but if we get back to anywhere near our level we are the strongest side no doubt about it. Oscar Bobb coming back too.
Not a hope in hell. We're just not there. In seasons gone by I'd give us a chance, but even the last two games we won we looked far from our best.

I know it’s impossible but I wouldn’t put it past Pep if we made some 11/10 signings in Jan and everything else went our way.

Arsenal and dippers are genetically programmed to crumble, we all know it.

No idea what the bookies odds are but from my gut I’d say we’re maybe 20/1 right now.

After the derby I was ready to have us relegated.

It's a shame we threw away 5 points against the rags and Everton, otherwise we'd still be in it.

Every team can think that. Arsenal fans will be looking at points they dropped and thinking they could be top.

The dippers will be looking at points dropped and thinking they should be even further ahead and nearly have it in the bag.

We're not in it because we're miles off it. It can't be pinpointed to certain games.

Funny how much the dippers fans are scared of us
Some still think we’ll go on a run and chase them down

The klopp years really scarred them

It's not surprising. In 9 seasons, they only ended up with 1 win, and two second place finishes, so the expectation just isn't there.

When you consider that they topped the table at some point in six of Klopp's eight full seasons, it's amazing that they had such a poor overall record.

A 32 points swing from the end of last season to now, for Liverpool against City in this seasons PL title race.
