Will it happen though ? The Government are spending huge money (which they haven’t got) in every direction - so of course they’ll prioritise a scruffy corner of Greater Manchester - given Manchester’s doing pretty well with private investment at the moment.

And I would put my mortgage on them having transport sorted for them before any changes with the transport arrangements at City.
