Most Branch Secs would have known this would be discussed tonight because it’s the hot topic (besides 115/130, which wouldn’t get discussed).

I wonder if Alan Galley and Kevin P have been given the heads up that confirmation of the meeting on ticket prices is imminent.

Regardless of whatever they may or may not have been told in private about a meeting date, should it not be about standing shoulder to shoulder with other 6 City Matters reps who have took the decision to boycott?

Howard Cohen of the Disabled Supporters Association also ran it by their committee and backed it. I can't believe 100% of the OSC voting tonight was to not back it.

Any supporters club chairs on here can confirm that they were given a vote on the matter?

As a member of a OSC, I can confim that members were not asked and that our rep did not attend, but confirmed that if they had, they would have voted against the boycott.

True democracy at work, why do i have a feeling that too many are scared to lose their guaranteed tickets and would rather bend over and grease up when the club comes calling.

Kevin Parker and the branch secretaries have to be honest, open, and upfront about the vote in detail. They can't hide behind a single statement saying the OSC doesn't support the boycott and that's it. That leaves the secret voting process open to questions of integrity from the OSC members.

The final vote result aside.

The people running the OSC don't share the actual votes with their members on X, Facebook, or on another social media platform. We don't know what our branch secretaries voted.
All we are told is the OSC didn't vote for the boycott. Where is the transparency and accountability in that?

I’ve tried to look at the thread on X but am struggling for some reason. Does it say the vote was unanimous or doesn’t it say anything along those lines?

At a meeting held tonight, @TheOSC8 decided not to support the boycott of @citymattersreps meetings. We look forward to @ManCity confirming the date for the agreed EGM asap

My view is Ciry Mattere is past its sell by date. Cory aren’t meeting the fans reps so I wouldn’t really call they a boycott or strike. Isn’t it hobson’s choice.

I don’t know why people are so hesitant about a protest. I was wearing my Maine Road FC shirt today. How about getting thousands to attend a Maine Road game

FWIW, r kid says I don’t understand why people are complaining about season ticket prices. That’s easy to say when I’m paying for his season card lol.

It's not just a price freeze needed. Parents need a guarantee that once their kid is old enough they can get a SC next to them (relocate if needed)

I'd take a price rise if that generational part is baked in

Like the Maine Road idea a lot.

Unfortunately with City Matters, Fan Advisory Boards (which is what it is, despite the club never referring to them as that) are here to stay due to being mandated by the PL. For years the club has run them atrociously, with a secretive shortlisting process, which suits City. Other FAB's across the League do not operate as opaquely as ours does.

It needs reform, and it needs it ASAP.

Withdrawing from my OSC if any money I contribute goes towards them, I've messaged my chairman to find out.

I resigned from the Eccles OSC two weeks ago. Not about this but because of other things that disillusioned me. I’ve been thinking about it for a while now.
