That's great but this season we're competing with Newcastle for champions league places, not Liverpool for the title, so I'm hoping for 3 points for the scousers
 
Saw somewhere some scribbler claiming the new C/L format is unfair as dippers,after coming top of the new league shouldn't have to play another top team,or some such drivel. It's just not fair .Talk about straws,dear me.
Re,P/L, it's a choice the devil or the deep Blue sea, lego and arsenal imploding again or dippers increasing insufferability ( new word) to even greater levels.
Silver lining is equalling the dark sides twenty and therfore becoming a little more commonplace ,as is inevitable.

Personally, I hope Arsenal lose their games and scousers win to get it over with ASAP. Last two months of dead games for Sky to ponder over might make them realise City weren't such a bad thing........nah I'm dreaming again, sorry.

You're not completely dreaming. Obviously our view is skewed, but nobody is really raving about Liverpool, and, while they've had some iffy patches, they've coincided with the teams below dropping points.

It's not there fault, but that's led to a lack of jeopardy for months now. I thought it was summed up recently by articles about them likely beating some 90 year old record about scoring at least twice in games or something. The tweets and articles tended to be along the lines of, "actually they're not just lucky, perhaps they might be quite good". Faint praise indeed.

I'd been awake a couple of hours before I opened Whatsapp and saw our friends group from last night. 2 rags, 5 blues and a Birmingham fan. It's a fucking brilliant read from extra time onwards. I'm an old fucker these days was asleep before the end of the match.
