That's my hope too. Both of them in the 3 behind Haaland plus 1 of the wingers Savinho probably. Just nothing happening at the moment.

Wishful thinking im afriad, I'd love to see any alternative to whos currently being played but Pep isn't going to do it. He doesn't trust the younger players despite his favourites costing us game after game after game all season.

I’ve no idea how good Echeverri is or is going to be but the team needs desperately needs something different.

We are lacking in energy, creativity and someone who is brave on the ball.

I just wish Pep would sometimes throw the odd youngster in from the start….it cannot be any worse than what we are seeing at the moment.

We ended yesterday with Silva, De Bruyne and Kovacic on the pitch…..it hasn’t worked all season …….its not lack of effort but collectively they are simply just not good enough any more.

He needs a period of adaptation but I don't see why he can't be named as a sub. by the end of this season.

Just played 50 apps and 4 international tournaments without a break. Think Oct 23 was the last month he had off looking at his appearances. Ill be surprised if we see him unless we sew up 4th with a game spare or something

Common sense says he'll be treated like Reis.

He'll train and learn. If a position comes up in the squad due to injury then we might see him. Otherwise he'll wait in the wings.

No lower league teams to test him against and we're desperate for top 4. So unlikely to risk it.

This lad is very highly regarded back in argentina. Just needs to adapt after joining up and i am hopefull we may see him before the season finishes (although it is probably unlikely)

That said, i believe we will see him definately at the club world cup on the pitch

Club World Cup should be ideal for a number of fringe players. If I ran the club (God forbid!) I’d use it as a development opportunity, and give tired players a break, rather than be looking to win it.

Preparing for next season’s campaign would be my priority.

I just hope PR doesn’t dictate everything. The competition is pretty meaningless in a sporting context.

Do you know if the winner automatically qualifies for the next one ? If so, I want to go full strength to win it.
