I flagged this previously about people downplaying it, saying it is boring with no title race etc, it just reminds me of everyone telling me nobody cares about City's achievements, that doesn't remotely spoil my enjoyment and celebrations during our successes.

I take your points, and am sure some fans are happy, but underwhelming because they believed they were on for the quad not long ago, and dippers are now the most entitled fans out there, despite that 1 in 30 you mentioned.

Also the title has been in the bag for a while now and they would have loved the cl to go with it. and their league status atm meant they could give it a good go too, but its gone.

My point re the pl title was that the hardest earned ones that go to the wire are the best imo.

The elation of winning it in the last minute or the last game cant be beat, the hope, the expectation, the stress, followed by the relief.

City have won it in different ways since Peps arrival, and those years we "robbed" the dippers after a ding dong run in are the best.

Went to bed when it went to penalties as I couldn't suffer the glee and wankfest that would naturally follow the candle burners winning through. Woke up and switched on 5 Live and could tell something hadn't gone to plan listening to the way Rick Edwards (the Enfield-born Scouser) sounded like he was at a funeral. Fucking made my day to hear the bus wreckers had gone out.
 
Some weird mental gymnastics on here regarding Liverpool winning the title.

You can’t say what they will or won’t feel or enjoy winning the league or maybe even a double. In the same way, most of us would always take a league title over most other trophies and we should celebrate that achievement for what it is each time it comes around.

I suppose whatever helps you sleep at night.
