Anyone who ever went jungle raving back in the day.. Doku reminds me of a mini Mc Det. Looks well like him in the face and a physical beast.. albeit a smaller version (Det is the biggest man I have ever seen).

No, but a front line of Sterling would be shite. He benefited massively from the system and the players around him. Which allowed him to focus on the one world class quality he had. Positioning. Outside of that he was average.

Sterlings movement was everything. He was also quick, and also knew where to be (what you mean by positioning I think). Not all footballers are the same. But this one is our 8th top scorer in history. And the current lot are just promises yet fulfilled.

Given that the defence should almost pick itself, given the injuries, the lack of awareness and understanding between the back six is concerning.

We seem mentally very fragile. I wouldn't have great confidence in this finishing as it is right now. But I live in hope.
