Shame - seen a good few on here say that Cambiaso isn’t all that so we may have to look elsewhere

Cambiaso is great just not worth what juve want for him. There are lots of fullbacks around at least. Just who can they get to the table for.

He is impressively average IMHO. Watching his fantastic passes on YouTube has convince some otherwise. But on a constant game by game grind, there just isn't anything special about him.

He is not very fast. Not that athletic. Not very aggressive. Not ambipedal however plays on either side, but he is dependently left footed. The only above average quality he has is a decent cross. I don't know why so many rate him so highly.

I am definitely missing something.

He's better than that but he is still fundamentally a defender who doesn't like defending.

Don't think there are any good RB's/ LB's anymore, all wingbacks, Aina is the best old school RB and what is he 28.
hope we go WB's Frimpong & Hernandez 3 cb or 4 CB's ie Khus and Nath/Josco/Doyle LH side

what I would like to change and what is shocking from game to game. our full backs don't know how to send a cross. Not even Gvardiol, nor did Walker and the others do it there before him. Cancelo and Mendy are the only players who knew how to send a good cross. my eyes and soul hurt when I see across Europe how Grimaldo, Frimpong, Dumfries, Di Marco, Carvajal, Hakimi etc. and how they create quality opportunities. and then I remember I have to watch Rico Lewis

I'd agree that this is now a very pressing issue, in a way I think Lewis and even Nunes would be fine if the team was operating well in most other areas, but neither is top drawer in that position and what we need, if we want to win league titles and champions leagues in the best future, is top drawer.

Obviously Hakimi would be top of the wishlist but is near impossible to get and I believe has some question marks over his attitude off the pitch. Did we drop a bollock letting Couto go? Frimpong I know less about, but if he is quick then maybe it's on the cards as Pep isn't really a fan of rough tackling, more shape and positioning.

Given he's out of contact in the summer I think the lad at Forest has to be in the mix. But I also expect given our tendencies that we'll be seriously looking at Oscar Mingueza and Eduardo Quaresma. If this lad at Juventus can play either side then I can see that too.
