A player who won 3 Premier Leagues, 1 Champions League, 1 FA Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup and 1 FIFA Club World Cup encompassing the treble and 4 league titles in a row for the first time in the history of English football is a "a very poor signing"100m fee and 300k plus a week for a purple 6 months, he played his part in the treble but he is still a very poor signing.

Grealish has stated 1 PL defeat this season, and where he was one of the better players, which I don't think warrants the MASSIVE meltdown on this thread.
Who do the fanatical fantasy football fans, the po-faced puritans, the closet Kloppites, the parsimonious penny pinchers and the Bluemoon big hitters on this thread blame for the other 8 PL defeats?
PSG plays much faster than city and create chances at a higher volume because their players don’t keep the ball just for possessionFucking hell, the fanatical fantasy football fans are out in force, although posting the same thing for the umpteenth time doesn't make it true. The issue that seems to totally escape the fantasy football fans is that City win more with Grealish in the team and lose more when Grealish isn't in the side; being able to retain possession high up the pitch is much more important than they are able to comprehend.
But according to the footballing geniuses on this thread all that needed to be done was play attacking wingers and get the ball forward quickly. I see that Inter Milan and PSG seem to be doing quite well by retaining possession and building up play but no, just hoof the ball forward quickly - it's the future!
I personally think top teams should want to dominate the ball, possession and control the game and its an inherent part of being a quality side. But it's not for the closet Kloppites on this thread, gurning whilst rabidly posting, urging that the ball be moved forward quicker.
Last week the po-faced puritans were out on this thread backing the Daily Mail over a City player and rather remarkably Bluemoon big hitters belatedly joining in a pile on around page 400.
And the parsimonious penny pinchers are out now as well - Grealish is certainly box office.

Just old boys looking out for each otherJohn Terry on Jack:

I'm no great fan of Terry but that seems to be a pointless thing to have made up.
I don't think that kind of workrate just disappears. I think it's very unlikely that what's going on with Jack is a lack of effort.
Pep being a bit of a **** or lacking bottle, probably the latter.Just what is the fucking point of him being on the bench if he's never used ? please explain to me this ?
Some of the numpties on here would pick a defender who gave away 50 penalties a year if he got a goal and an assist on his stats.Fucking hell, the fanatical fantasy football fans are out in force, although posting the same thing for the umpteenth time doesn't make it true. Or maybe Pep pays close attention to the players during the training sessions and can actually see who's making an effort to get in the starting 11. I mean that's a crazy idea, right?Pep being a bit of a **** or lacking bottle, probably the latter.
Is said player available? Some of the numpties on here would pick a defender who gave away 50 penalties a year if he got a goal and an assist on his stats.
What's the point if the ones that are supposedly making efforts in training are stinking the place week in week out during the games ? and who told you Grealish wasn't making efforts in training ? because I think Pep himself denied that.Or maybe Pep pays close attention to the players during the training sessions and can actually see who's making an effort to get in the starting 11. Pep is genius and right 99/100 timesPep being a bit of a **** or lacking bottle, probably the latter.
We were talking about why on the bench and not brought on old bean. There doesn't appear to be much point unless leaving someone out creates headlines.Or maybe Pep pays close attention to the players during the training sessions and can actually see who's making an effort to get in the starting 11. And yet Grealish who apparently doesn't perform in training (no proof of that) has performed better in the limited time he's received in the last month and half than some of the lads who apparently are performing in training.you ever thought they are performing the best in training hence why they are in the lineup/squad?
I reckon the likes of bernardo, gundo and many others must be doing ultra marathons in training because by game day they are fucked.Or maybe Pep pays close attention to the players during the training sessions and can actually see who's making an effort to get in the starting 11. Less control but get the same g/a output.. risky.I’m expecting a cone to be selected next game.
