PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Sky and especially Neville and Caragher were warned not to 'speculate on the outcome of the verdict presumably to keep Sky out of legal action, but it doesn't stop clickbait sites clogging up the inbox with the same old done-to-death tales if what would City's punishments would be if the worst was to happen. Never do these sites speculate the repercussions if City win the case, but that is far too boring for such simple.minds.

The problem that will remain is that these sites are probably based in Gibraltar and are out of touch with the capacity to dig up more and more perceived dirt.

All this may go on for years yet.

If we're that smart, why have we been caught by at least 2 IT breachs? Chelsea have managed to spend billions and run all kinds of scams past the PL e.g., hotel sales and 7 year playing contracts.
Neither of Chelsea's 'scams' were against the rules at the time though. The PL tried to stop hotel sales but the members voted to keep them, and player contracts are now restricted to 5 years for FFP/PSR purposes

Go and look up the amount of multi national companies that have fallen victim to IT breaches, are all of them dumb?

If no decision by Leicester at Home then I'd be up for a booing of the PL anthem, ala the CL booing.

The CL booing was effective in drawing media publicity to the reasons why it was done.

This drawn out nonsense is beyond ridiculous.

An action brought about by shit stirring jealous millionaires of other Clubs that had turned to shite.

These people don't give a toss about their own supporters so feel even less for us.

I hope Masters and Co are strung out to dry when this shitshow unfolds.

Fucking disgusting putting the fan base of the most successful club of the last 15 years through this shite, a club that has helped to generate wealth and interest for the league and other clubs in it.

A club that is now the benchmark others aspire too yet has not forgotten it's roots and the community it supports to the tune of millions.

City have had a strong community presence since the 70's, and continue to do a lot of work in the community today.

All this action based on fuck all, a few desperate allegations that mean absolutely nothing to 99.9% of football fans because we have no idea how a football Club operates.

The shit some of England's so called finest Clubs have got away with over the years without so much as a slap on the wrist.

I am so glad our leadership has stood up to this bullying and intimidation.
I suspect the PL thought we would accept some of the charges and a punishment, probably £££.

Well Fuck you, you can't prove shit and have bitten off more than you can chew!

Ceferin is a slime ball though
I think that was more about the spin Sky chose to put on Ceferin’s comments rather than the actual substance of his words. When City flirted with the Super League I recall Ceferin being especially disappointed.

Bravo !
They’ll gladly see us wiped of the face of the earth , and City lay off hundreds of employees at the club , and businesses that have indirectly prospered , all because we have won a few shiny things.
Will there be an outpouring of grief if the club has to make people redundant if they get what they want , or is that exclusive to the shower of red shite over the road because of business incompetence?
It’s one big fucking snide , underhanded attempted stitch up.
Fuck them all.

You clearly don't understand because I didn't say Pep doesn't know anything. I said we don't know for sure what Pep thinks about anything because a point was raised about knowledge. So you completely misunderstood. In fact my reply was about splitting hairs over his choice of words.

As for the rest, if you believe I make my stuff up, good for you. Why engage then. Fucking boring rubbish.

This place is tiresome.
I didn’t say you make stuff up but you are not right all the time.

It wasn’t long ago that you were telling everyone on talksport that Chelsea would have to sell most of their squad to comply with the financial rules. All the while Chelsea were selling hotels to themselves. Again, only people residing in the inner circle of Chelsea knew what the club was doing to avoid sanctions.

It is boring that some posters claim to have info but fail to produce the goods when questioned as to it’s legitimacy and authenticity.

You can’t know the inner working at City. So although you may have won a point on pep’s use of language, the overall argument still stands. Iv worked with plenty of people like yourself in the past. Carry on being rude and I will respond in kind.

It is boring, il agree to that and move on.

On the two previous occasions City were awaiting the hangman's noose, Khaldoon absolutely knew what the outcomes would be.

He back channelled the fuck out of the first "pinch", dealing directly with Platini, Infantino and the French President.

He expected and gamed out the entire second Champions League ban and record fine from Lemetre and his mob, refusing to acknowledge their independence and integrity.

He absolutely knew at CAS how the chips had fallen and how Ceferin had proved a powerful ally.

He absolutely knew City had to drag out the Premier League witch-hunt, eventually allowing us before an independent, competent panel, to debate ONLY the law.

Khaldoon has too much power and influence not to know when it concerns the reputation of Abu Dhabi and his bosses.

Whether it be the security services, government or even the person who cleans the offices at the Premier League, he's spent £50m to be the ultimate ITK.

Yes they do know, the Club was given the Verdict Last Monday to check over.
So all our execs know the outcome and so do the PL officers associated with the charges.
We don't know because tge club doesn't leak.
To be fair the PL have been pretty good - though if we were guilty it would have leaked by now - Masters wouldn't be able to control his excitement.

The club doesn't leak ?

Not like Old Trafford then.

When you say “fail to produce the goods”, what exactly are you asking them to produce?

It’s very clear Tolmie and Stefan have access to contacts and hear information that most people don’t.

That’s why City fans on Bluemoon are way more informed on transfers and financial matters regarding City than fans who don’t come on here.

And it’s why Tolmie and Stefan constantly get the most engagement.

But asking them to “produce the goods” on who their sources are is just completely nonsensical! For what reason? To appease some blokes on Bluemoon?

The irony being, if they “produced the goods” and leaked their sources, then we’d all be less well informed than we are now.

Even people with a direct line to Khaldoon won’t get everything right. Deals fall apart, things change. Just because everything they say doesn’t come true, doesn’t mean they don’t have genuine info.

There are clearly some posters who claim to know stuff just for attention. But they’re pretty easy to spot.

But judge Tolm and Stefan on their records. The boards are lucky to have them. Constantly begging them to reveal their contacts is just going to end up chasing them away and making us all less informed.
