Season Tickets - 2024/25

We got punted from the back row of 233 last summer for the building works. Now down in half&half scarf hell in 132.

But I imagine the club are eventually looking to copy Wembley and make the whole of level 2 corporate in some way.
They would have the whole ground corporate if they could

What are the usual criteria for being able to apply for the flexi gold tickets?

Gave up my season card in 142 during Covid lockdown seasons and foolishly expected more season tickets upon completion of the north extension!

Pretty sure it was 15 games too.

I wanted to get myself and my son 2 flexi golds together. Could only get one as I had done 18 home games in 2 years and he had done 14…

That sounds like slightly different circumstances to what I was talking about though. Doesn’t sound like you were a ST holder previously, from that post.

I was talking specifically about juniors linked to an adult account that was already a ST holder.

The club stated they want level 2 to be corporate ( GA+) quite a long while back
Did the club actually say that or was that assumed by fans following the introduction of Joe's and 93:20, and the siting of seats from Legends Bar in SS2? In any case I can't see it applying to all the extended NS2.

The Club wrote out to fans in East Stand L2 and West Stand L2, when padded seats replaced plastic, that those blocks would be made Premium seats in the years ahead. It was a surprise that this hasn’t happened with the remaining blocks in these stands, especially when the Club is making 500 or 600 seats at the bottom g/a / premium.

Flexi Gold isn't a season ticket though Tim, no matter how much Shane Warne spin the club try and put on it.

Even if it was 40k actual season cards, that would represent 64.5% of stadium capacity which is a lower percentage than we have now. And that percentage will only go down from hereon in when you factor in the natural churn of season cards at the end of each season and if the club maintain their stance of offering no new season cards from now on.

Going back to Flexi Gold, the key takeaways from the 1894 survey amongst Flexi Gold holders who responded are:

127 (97.7%) of Flexi Gold members would prefer City to offer them the choice of Flexi Gold or a normal season card
Only 3 (2.3%) are happy with Flexi Gold being the only offering from the club

That's emphatic.
Flexi Gold has no value. No point trying to tweak it, soften it's image or make it seem better. It's an alien concept brought in at a time when greed is ruining football. Trying to defend it is being part of the problem. Anything that has to be constantly defended is not worth keeping. It's an experiment that doesn't work. It's also incompatabile with recovering the atmosphere so you're either pro-season ticket pro-atmosphere or pro-flexi gold anti-atmosphere for me. The fact is if every person on Flexi Gold was offered a choice then everybody would take a season ticket and drop Flexi Gold immediately. The club are running scared of offering that choice. The opposition to Flexi Gold will just carry on year on year until the sensible decision is made to get rid of it.

It is emphatic but it’s an awfully loaded question.

It doesn’t give any insight into how many of those 97% would have chosen Flexi, given the choice. Just that they would have liked the choice.
Would you prefer the traditional product people have had for decades and all the benefits that product entails or do you want to keep the new gimmick brought in where you'd pay £150 regardless of attending any games whatsoever and returned tickets go straight ack to the club to destroy the atmosphere ?

How is evaluating the recent product introduced this year and comparing it to what has always been available, how is that a loaded question. It's feedback on the product.

Are you anti-choice ?

I agree to an extent but we still have to pay Haaland’s wages.

Some people would still be selling on the Face Value pages but less of them. It’s more than about price mate. That’s because the main page is like a supporters group where people love City and dislike the Directors. They help each other out. A call to get behind the lads has put thousands on some attendances. It’s not like some of the groups who have appeared overnight and are now claiming to represent us, the fans.
We are not paying Haaland's wages.

If there was no £150 charge, I think it has some value.

Especially for out of towners who struggle to get to games for various reasons.

I'm sure that a lot of the season card holders who don't turn up for Leicester next week might have preferred something similar.

Rather than getting nothing from the Ticket Exchange.

If there was no £150 charge half the ST holders would be interested.

I doubt it. Season ticket holders are allowed to transfer their tickets to Friends and Family. Having a season ticket also gives fans more of a chance of getting away tickets - especially this season as the drop-off in form has seen some away games sell out at lower points - and also priority over members/Flexi Gold holders when it comes to cup final tickets.

So no, a lot of season ticket holders who can’t shift their ticket for Leicester next week would not prefer Flexi Gold over all the other benefits a season ticket gives.

I get it that you’d much rather see the return of a standard season ticket as soon as possible and I hope the club are in a position to offer them again at some point in the near future.

Flexi-Gold is still an extremely attractive option though, especially for anyone wanting a junior season ticket.

My young lad’s season ticket in SS3 works out at £14.47 a game and that’s including the £75 fee.

£14.47 per game is an absolute bargain. Flexi-Gold gets a lot of stick on here but anyone who wants to get a regular seat for their son or daughter should snap one up if they get the chance.
It's certainly better than the £40-50 that match day members must pay for their children, which is disgusting. However, my son's standard season ticket in SS3 works out at £11.53 each game. Why should you pay an additional £3 each game for an identical product? The £75 is simply a scam.

They should get rid of flexi gold completely.
