Just received an email saying Season Ticket holders can purchase up to 3 additional tickets for the home PL game against Palace.

There are some tickets at the back of the SSL3 away section for £30 (£18 for kids), at the front of the SSL3 away section and everywhere else prices are £61-78 (£33-48 for kids).

£18 for kids is ridiculous never mind the other exorbitant rip off tickets.

I reckon £15-20 is about the price it should be for kids for PL games in every part of the stadium. £10 for Cup games. I think that’s fair.

48-fucking-quid int though!

For me it should be no more than £35-40 for adults around most areas n’all, with more premium spots in the stadium (before you get to hospitality) being around £50.

There’s no need for football tickets to be anymore expensive than that, without them being hospitality. Just no need at all. It’s 50-60 minutes of action across 1 hour 45 mins. It’s not like a gig where you get 1h 55m of songs in a 2 hour gig, or a DJ set where you get 2 hours of songs in a 2 hour set, or a rugby league game where you get 70 mins of action across 1h 35m… foootball is a game where, in most games, absolutely fuck all is happening for 30 minutes, that’s ⅓ of the game where it’s just 25 blokes standing about in a field.

We nabbed 3 tickets today 2 adult citizens and an 18 year old. Recent games (and elsewhere in the ground for this game) anywhere between £150 - £185 so no brainer as we can only do about 5-6 games a season.

You can for this game. Extra tickets are sent as emails.
Just being sarcastic Tim.

Got a call from our TO last week asking why I had bought 5 derby tickets and accused me of passing them on and saying will all the people I have bought for will have ID if requested

The lads I go with have the points as they have been going for years !!
I always get them as I sit on a pc all day at 10.00am 1-00pm and 4.00pm when the levels drop, these lads work in factories chem plants etc when you can’t have a phone with you so I look after the loyal blues who I have been going with since early 80s

Edit - when we all know the biggest ticket tout out there is Manchester City FC

Is it an offer to buy 4 or 3 seats together? If so, that’s outstanding for getting families down.

That's a disgusting way to treat a match going fan. Bet that retired copper had a hand in that. Bullies, picking on the little man instead of tackling the real problem

They know they can get away with it too as they know you're unlikely to tell them to fuck off like you would to any other business who treated you like that.

There'll be fuckers in the TO doing exactly what they've accused you of. Shocking mate

i thoughts so mate.

I reckon these cut price tickets (tbf I’ve been calling for for ages) are partly to undermine the face value pages in a double pronged attack with threatening sellers memberships. Meanwhile there are 8 or 9 official touting partnerships.

They’re seemingly desperate with these “buy up to four tickets” offers they’re sending out at the minute.

Hopefully they’re getting the message that matchday tickets as well as some season card prices are too high.
Also many City fans pick and choose the games they attend, gone are the days you don’t miss a game.

The club are probably struggling to fill the ground because

1. We are not in the best of form
2. Crystal Palace are not a ‘big team’
3. 12:30 pm kick off
4. It’s on the telly

As a season ticket holder I have mixed feelings about getting the chance to buy extra tickets. Is it an opportunity for us or is the club taking advantage of us? It’s a difficult one.
