Thinking about it if all dogs eat their own shite , this puts to bed the mysterious disappearance of white dog shit .

I don't think the disappearance of white dog shit is all that mysterious, bones used to make up a large part of many dogs' diet, hence the calcium rich stools.

The availability of affordable, less messy dog food like Pedigree Chum and Winalot is what sounded the death knell for the white poops.
