Fuck LFC and all that, but I have to say in passing I can find nothing to admire about Real Madrid. I really can't. They are kind of in the position on the European level that the rags were in round about 1999 — just able to hoover up anyone they damn well felt like hoovering up. They do it round Europe, as the rags did it in England.
I hope to God someone stops them from winning the CL. Probably they won't they, since it's been decided in advance that it's their tournament, and the reffing follows accordingly.

Its a weird one in that he's no where near one of the best right backs in the true sense of the position. He's a fucking awful defender and lazy as fuck to boot. But he does supply some excellent assists from deep. Clearly has a very good passing range

He's never been a top notch defender; his strength is going forward. Robertson, at his peak, was a far better FB. Though he seems to have been up and down this season.
