PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Got caught years ago didn't have any Id on me the inspector rang my mate who I was lodging with at the time
...."not again he's always doing it" was his response ffs
absolute amateur!

there's no such thing as getting caught.

the ticket inspectors (or as the youths call them, mets)
have no authority whatsoever.

there are 2 secenarios:

1) you are awaiting a tram.
it arrives and there are mets onboard
= let is pass and catch the next one.

2) mets board your tram asking to see all tickets and passes.
= get off the tram.
if they stay on the tram, wait for the next one.
if they get off again to await the next tram you sneak back on.
at the very worst all you have to do is walk to the next station.

head down, ignore them.
there is no reason to even communicate with them,
let alone offer them any details or i.d.

they cannot do anything.
if they touch you it is assault, on cctv.

your taxes paid for the network to be built.
the owners are raking it in for no initial expense on their part.
fuck 'em.

Normally I would agree but we have had briefings this week that city no nothing about the case and are very much in the dark like the rest of us.

So either that’s not true or it is indeed another signal that we expect to be cleared…hmm.

Once this is all settled, I would love to know the timeframe and how close our speculation was at the time.
I think you are confusing the two, why do City need to have heard anything to be confident? The case has finished, we will now know all the evidence, if any, the premier league has. We are most probably confident because seeing the evidence we know there is no chance they can prove guilt.

What did Simon cliff say in the PL meeting that he insisted on being minuted?
Said all the American clubs can get fucked, Khaldoons been in the White House and Trump has agreed to have Doge hand all their assets over to Mubadala for liquidation. Or something like that

According to a post on Twatter he said the following...

Simon Cliff ‘caused astonishment’ at the end of a Premier League shareholders’ meeting on Thursday by appearing to question some clubs’ motives in recent votes, and sources say it was the talk of club executives once the meeting ended.Sources present say Cliff did not name any clubs but told the #PL’s chairwoman, Alison Brittain, that he wanted the intervention noted in the minutes.

The premier league were lobbying clubs how to vote, again not the way an independent regulator should behave, especially when it’s considered unlawful.

No wonder the execs were talking about it at the end they are all up to their neck in it.

If the panel has told both parties of their judgement and the announcement will be imminent then the fact the Simon Cliff has attended this meeting and asked for his comments on voting to be recorded suggests the club are sending a big fuck you to the cartel.
What have I missed. Both parties have been told now? Where's this been reported?

It makes me laugh when we get to Piccadilly..can I see ur ticket mate..show em one from 3 years ago.
Bit harder when they try to scan it.
Remember when you had to pay to use the big at Piccadilly..me dad was trying to put 20p in.
Fuck that..pull the bar this way and squeeze in.
Same at Wembley even when I've had a ticket I still get in without using it.
Just for the fun of it.
Just go right behind the person in front
