Roll call for 9 minute protest

I’m all for constructive protests but having been caught up in crushes at several games it’s not something I would want to again.
Yeah I get what your saying and probably turning our backs at 9 minutes could of been an option as a previous poster has put. We definitely need to something though before it's too late.

As is mine. You are free to have an opinion and I am free to say your opinion is wrong then try to explain why. That's not "bullying" mate. And the posts thing was just a joke obviously
I sort of realised the post thing was a joke hence my liking the post and finding a calculator to work out how many per week!, ;-)

I’m sorry, maybe I was a bit sensitive and you didn’t bully me but it felt like it or maybe it’s not a good day.
I want to be as active as I used to be and join in things so I guess I’m being overly sensitive.
I apologise.

How do you think people get out of the stadium after a game? It's not done in waves is it mate? Of course there's capacity, you have nothing to worry about.
I’ve often wondered how people get out of the ground, I assumed it was because the gates were open and people then leave. Anyway if there’s a huge unmoving queue when I rock up I will just turn around and fuck off home, I’m too old for this bollox.

I am not “pointlessly cynical”. I agree there should be a protest just that the timing is wrong!! A mass walk out at 30 minutes would be more effective. IMHO
Don’t condemn people out of hand please.
A big large banner added to the walk out would have more impact, especially to people that haven't a clue whats going on...
P.S i think it should be the next game after Leicester to have more impact ?

I think someone should pin the demands of the protest on here. I read a tweet called Vianoshow and it was all about Viagogo. I am not protesting about the viagogo deal. I have no interest in it. It's about the distribution of hospitality seats and I have no interest in that. If it is about season-tickets, match-day prices and season-ticket availability I will join in.
Its multifaceted. The protest isnt directly about a single issue, its about the variety of ways that City are fucking fans over. The Viagogo thing just seemed to be the straw that broke the camels back.
It's about Barcelona fans in the away end for a sold out game. It's about refusing to meet with City Matters over ticketing. It's about the constant raises and hikes in proces while making tens of millions every year in profits. It's about the tourists paying £300 on resale sites for a match that is "sold out" to Blues

The idea is to try and remind the club that we exist and actually, we're not a bunch of submissive and apathetic people who they never need to consider in their decisions

You have nothing to apologise for mate.

Buying fuck all while we are there not so much as a coffee would go much further, no club shop no pie and no fucking beer if people could just keep their powder dry.

Unfurl any sort of banner and they will take it down, they have form for it.

A few thousand not being in their seats for 9 minutes will make very little difference, not turning up will make a huge difference.

Stay away and watch on TV. That is the only way to protest and make the club think about it.

Judging by the seat planner on the OS most of us will be sat in an empty stadium anyway :)

Surrounding the entrances of the shop could be a good future tactic. I think the club forcing fans to take a protest banner down would probably garner more coverage than the banner staying up. The club PR team are probably too stupid to realise this.

Seriously mate, maybe drastic to stay away but it'll most probably get the point across for the club to take supporters(sorry customers) seriously and not take the piss like they have been doing.

I’m in Rhodes, we sold our 4 in 132 on the exchange weeks ago, probably to some tourist :) who’s gonna take his seat and piss everyone off doing the usual stuff. Had I been there I’d definitely be sitting out the first nine minutes watching through the gaps at the back of NS1

I’m going to watch the team and support them as usual
Re the protest when it becomes unaffordable or too difficult to obtain tickets I simply won’t go
The stupidity of some on here beggars belief. If we take collective action now, that point may not come. That's what we are trying to stop.

Having to leave just after half time for family reasons, may as well boycott the full game.if missing the first 9 minutes

Going to give the Wolves game-a miss due to ridiculous day and kick off time - had enough of it tbh

Fans just being shafted from all sides, club league tv blah blah

They may get my season ticket before long - can afford it but ....
give them what they seem to want another FOC gone

Wonder what the impact will be for the 'clever f******' who run the club day to day if the team do not improve quickly on the pitch.

The tourists destination will soon change from the Eithad if we are not winning never mind performing.

Yes in an ideal world a full boycott would be amazing but look how hard we're having to work to get people to boycott 9 minutes for something that is in their interests to do.
