Kinda like this set up, that front 3 are great but issues have always been MF. With OReilly supporting Kova and Nico with and without the ball..should work well.

The goal we conceded against Forest away was a prime example of our slipshod attitude this season. Just not good enough by a number of players, the main culprits being Gvardiol and Ederson.

Gvardiol performances have been consistently poor all season, I just don’t think the lad can defend …doesn't have the tactical brain for it.

Can't say I agree with that. He plays superbly for most of the time in most of the games, but unfortunately does have a habit of ballsing something up every now and again. And too often they are big balls ups. If he could eliminate this, he'd be the best left back in the league IMO, if he isn't already.

I wouldnt call him dreadful but I do agree that he needs to improve especially without the ball when defending...he certainly doesnt close his man down quick enough for starters

Costly losses of concentration and doesn't engage his attacker early or aggressively enough.

Much to learn about defending.
