In Grealish's first 3 seasons when he played regularly City won 3 Premier Leagues, 1 Champions League, 1 FA Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup and 1 FIFA Club World Cup.

Are the results City achieve with a signing in the team irrelevant to how you judge a signing's worth? Absolutely astonishing.

If in a team sport results don't matter, what exactly are you judging a signing on?
I judge him on his personal performances and stats.
How else is there ?

For me except for 6 months he's been overall disappointing. Probably why he's now a permanent fixture on the bench.

It's the highest profile league in the most popular sport in the world

Teams have to be balanced and attack and defend as a team.

With respect your judgement of personal performance must be flawed because you don't obtain the results City have in the highest profile league in the world without every player contributing; the suggestion Grealish has been some sort of passenger for 2 and half years is utter nonsense

We'll have to agree to disagree mate..

Grealish for City on the wing is this...

Dribble.. dribble... dribble.. and then pass backwards, failing to create a clear chance on goal or dangerous pass.

Maybe Grealish would be far better play central. But who knows...

IMO sell Grealish - he's an extremely talented player but is a misfit for how we play - except to close out games where we want fouls to eat up time.

Extraordinary use of language.

If a player who signed wins 3 PLs and a CL is a "huge disappointment",what would you class not winning the PL or CL for the next 3 years as? Not winning CL or PL for 10 years? For 30 years?
Who in the City squad didn't win the same medals during those same years? Nonsense argument that.

Yes no one wants dribble dribble dribble when we can have pass sidewards pass sidewards pass sidewards then pass backwards.

Pointless arguments all round on here.

Simple case of a player being underused and played out of position by a stubborn coach who seems to have taken a strong dislike to him.

Flogging KDB and Bernardo to near standstill, persisting with a criminally out of form Foden, while leaving Jack on the bench...

There's only one real midfield problem at City at the moment and he's picking the team.

Italian club paying £40m?

That too for someone who can’t score?

and the one on £275k a week?

Nah

Yep of course they'll say that and I bet they won't except and obligation to pay the 40m they'll be after an option to pay 40m and he be back to us next season
