Not all 6000 are going to join in.Another 5,000 though.
Why not stop using the kiosks for the remainder of the season.Would that not be better.
I.said the same on twitter earlier this week.MigHt be doing a 90-minute protest at this rate!
People at those times usually have a few common purposes. You say it yourself, 'most leaving for kick off'...there aren't usually large groups hanging round trying to make a point. What is being proposed disrupts how the crowd dynamics of a space, not designed for this kind of protest, work. Is everyone just going to stand quietly eating pies and supping pints, politely moving to one side if someone wants to get to their seats? How do you cope at half time or the beginning of the match? When thousands of people are on the concourse, with most leaving for kick off.
What you’re saying is never going to happen and a bit OTT. I’d be shocked if - 1 -everyone took part in the protest and 2 - city fans decide to rush the doors lol
If the concourse can’t cope with it, then there’s something seriously wrong with our safety and the etihad isn’t fit for purpose
Well yea. Unless you think we’re all going to stop people getting to their seats. Why would that happen?People at those times usually have a few common purposes. You say it yourself, 'most leaving for kick off'...there aren't usually large groups hanging round trying to make a point. It seems very ill advised and increases the risk of disruption and conflict with people just wanting to enjoy a game...
Just how fucking stoned are you?Obviously not that easy.
I've never been in a supporters club. I get my tickets for face value from other st holders that can't attend.
So what you're saying is that you're not going to join a protest that will benefit you because you think it might not work?
So?
What are you losing out on here? This is Pascal's wager in the simplest form. There is not only no benefit to you in refusing to participate but your refusal actively hurts the cause.
And what if you're wrong? What if actually it would have made a difference but you just didnt bother?
It's 9 minutes. Nobody is asking you to donate your house here, they (and when I say they I mean every single Manchester City fan group from the 1894 to the Foodbank to the Disabled Association) are asking you to be leisurely when going to your seat.
And how is this "badly organised"

Here it is as a story on the country's largest sports channel
Recently @Tim of the Oak said that in his opinion, the club won't ever address the ticketing issues because despite the groups and associations raising them as a concern, ultimately they know that a lot of fans don't give a shit and won't bother to protest.
I think he's wrong but your excuses aren't exactly filling me with hope.
Keep to your values Sheila. I don’t know what’s happened, with the game on etc. Hopefully, it’s just a misunderstanding. Well informed posters will know that the last time there was a bullying campaign on here (several years ago), the ringleader was laughed out of the Etihad. As I’ve been a member since 2009 I don’t think approximately 25 posts per week is bad or excessive.
Also, at present, as I’m not able to live the outdoor active life I once did I find this forum, amongst others, a distraction from the pain. :-) :-)
I’ve dealt with bullies all my life @Damocles but I was under the impression that I was posting on an open forum where my opinion is just as valid. :-)
I find it stupid that we are desperate for 3 points and you stand on the concourseThe stupidity of some on here beggars belief. If we take collective action now, that point may not come. That's what we are trying to stop.
What about the club and the team go stand on the concourse as you likeSo basically even though others are already been priced out, you dont give a shit about them enough to give up 9 minutes of your time, and not only that but actively hurt the legitimacy of their protest because it doesn't effect you yet.
People like you are why the world has turned to shit. The "I'm alright Jack" mob.
There’s a much bigger picture to this palI find it stupid that we are desperate for 3 points and you stand on the concourse
Each time I their own of course - some fan you are !
My seat in 116 will be empty for the entirety of the game, thanks to my club ban, despite the case not being heard in Court until mid-June. As will the seats of dozens of other Blues in the same situation, plenty of whom post on this forum. Guaranteed SC grabs if found guilty, no matter the circumstances, for the club to sell these seats to the highest bidder.
This isn't just about Third-party sellers, it's about the systematic targeting of "legacy" fans and the seats we've sat in for decades.
It's my firm belief, that within 5 years, season cards will be consigned to history. This forum will be a seething mass of discontent, anger and calls to arms. By then, fellow Blues, it will be too late. The City ship will have sailed. Laden with international tourists, influencers and streamers. Willing to pay top-dollar for a weekend of MMA & Taylor Swift at Co-Op Live, European basketball and Premier League soccer at the Citehdome, with fine-dining at Manchesters finest eateries. All this, from the comfort of your suite at the largest hotel in Manchester, just 50 yards from the action.
You? Me? Shut out, staring in. Dispossessed. Robbed of the Club we once loved. Sold down the fucking Ship Canal. A grandstand view of the prefab Disney cladding going upstream to Stretford.
Sadly, this thread is a reflection of what our once-proud country has become. I'm alright Jack mentality, pass the buck rubber-neckers sneering at any attempt at changjng the narrative. Hand-wringing at how it might look on TV. Pissing our pants because some dick on twatter might take the piss. A passive and divided acceptance that the elite will prosper at the expense of the powerless.
9 minutes is the clarion call. NINE fucking minutes out of your life to send a message. Don't let this fail Blues. Do something about it. Now.
"Welcome to Manchester".
After all, this IS Manchester, and you don't fuck with Mancunians. Do you?
How's that. Are they stopping the friends and family option?Just how fucking stoned are you?
You’re exactly the type of fan that the club is desperate to prevent from attending.
