Roll call for 9 minute protest

I find it stupid that we are desperate for 3 points and you stand on the concourse
Each time I their own of course - some fan you are !
As you say, each to their own but it’s worth noting that we won a league title with no fans in attendance at any of our home games until the last game of the season when it had already been won ;)

That’s quite a high opinion of the individual effectiveness of your 9 minutes of support.

How many goals do you think that you’ll create in that time?

How many goals do you think that those staying on the concourse for 9 minutes will create for Leicester?

No idea pal you do your thing I will do mine
You may miss 4 you may miss zero
I’m sure I won’t be the only one watching the team during the first 9 minutes

My seat in 116 will be empty for the entirety of the game, thanks to my club ban, despite the case not being heard in Court until mid-June. As will the seats of dozens of other Blues in the same situation, plenty of whom post on this forum. Guaranteed SC grabs if found guilty, no matter the circumstances, for the club to sell these seats to the highest bidder.

This isn't just about Third-party sellers, it's about the systematic targeting of "legacy" fans and the seats we've sat in for decades.

It's my firm belief, that within 5 years, season cards will be consigned to history. This forum will be a seething mass of discontent, anger and calls to arms. By then, fellow Blues, it will be too late. The City ship will have sailed. Laden with international tourists, influencers and streamers. Willing to pay top-dollar for a weekend of MMA & Taylor Swift at Co-Op Live, European basketball and Premier League soccer at the Citehdome, with fine-dining at Manchesters finest eateries. All this, from the comfort of your suite at the largest hotel in Manchester, just 50 yards from the action.

You? Me? Shut out, staring in. Dispossessed. Robbed of the Club we once loved. Sold down the fucking Ship Canal. A grandstand view of the prefab Disney cladding going upstream to Stretford.

Sadly, this thread is a reflection of what our once-proud country has become. I'm alright Jack mentality, pass the buck rubber-neckers sneering at any attempt at changjng the narrative. Hand-wringing at how it might look on TV. Pissing our pants because some dick on twatter might take the piss. A passive and divided acceptance that the elite will prosper at the expense of the powerless.

9 minutes is the clarion call. NINE fucking minutes out of your life to send a message. Don't let this fail Blues. Do something about it. Now.

"Welcome to Manchester".

After all, this IS Manchester, and you don't fuck with Mancunians. Do you?
Post of the week.

A stark warning of what may come to fruition.

I'm bookmarking it to show in the future, you have been warned blues.

Dodge, no doubt like me, hope we're wrong.

What about the club and the team go stand on the concourse as you like
I will be supporting us to get three points
People like you ? You don’t know me or what I stand for
How about fuck off I will do what I like - lemming !

Would it make even more of a statement if we sit in our seats till 5-10 minutes before kick off, and all file out before returning on 9 minutes?

Interested to see which blocks people who are planning on joining in the 9 minute protest on Wednesday sit.

I'm in 317 and would like to join in but think I will wait to just before kick off to see how many others are joining in. Not much point me doing it if I'm the only person in the block doing it.

As it was first mentioned by 1894, I'm guessing lots in SS1 will join in with less in other areas.

So where are you planning on not sitting/standing for 9 minutes?

Lots of other threads to discuss the wrongs and rights of the ticket situation and the benefit of a protest so just a stand or block needed.

Tbh there’ll still be tourists paying £300 for their seat exchange resell straggling in after 20 minutes, looking for their seats and getting the wrong row 2/3 times, if this season is anything to go by

With or without the protest the atmosphere will be crap. We dont want the tourists but dont have enough none tourist fans of a positive mindset to get the 50k+ capacity stadium rocking. We are not and never will be the rags or livarpool and im just greatful to the lads that performed today and will support them as i did City at Bury years ago.
We actually do have the support though. You only have to look at the Monday night parades we’ve had. Issue is pricing.

134 - 3 of us. As others have said, it’s not just Viagogo.

We’ve had constant issues all season with away fans in our block. One even put their by a steward at the derby, to which the arrogant idiot then threatened to kick out those who called him out for it next game

I'm actually boycotting the game due to my own reasons: missing my flexi-gold ST window and refusing to pay £20 more to sit in my season ticket seat because I missed a 4 day window even though my seat is still there to be bought. £53 they want when they were charging nearly half of that in my 4 day window after I've already paid the £150 deposit. I know it's my fault for missing the window but that's a pisstake.

I would be spending the first 9mins on the concourse if I was going though as City have continuously taken the piss with ticketing policies.
- Punishing fans for selling to friends and family.
- Legalised ticket touting via 3rd party websites.
- Making the Madrid semi-final 2 years ago a £35 raffle for anyone that wanted a ticket.
- Continuous ST price rises despite not needing to do it.
- Not setting clear criteria on how people can get a season ticket.
- Only offering flexi-gold season tickets to people that can get one.
- Doing nothing about away fans sitting in the home end.

I could go on and on but I'd be here all night, whoever is running the ticketing department needs some sense knocking into them.

This 'I'm alright Jack' mentality has to end, it's symptomatic of this country as well, if we were French nobody would be getting into the stadium on Wednesday night.

There are £30 tickets available for Wednesday still
Shows the level of disconnect. Terrible.

Imagine a Wednesday night home game next season against Burnley or Sheff United. New stand to fill. It’s just not going to happen.

This is why the club wanted to be part of this Super League. Im sure they still would if it had legs.
