Riath Al Samarai in the DM has a 'presumed guilty' piece today. The accompanying images are of Yaya, and Pep and Khaldoon holding the premier league trophy and an image of Lance Armstrong on his bike. That is the sort of tenuous shit I would expect from the most rabid scouse/rag clowns, never mind a supposed journalist. It's a mail+ article and I'll be fooked if I'm giving them any money to read that shit or the comments, so I didn't get beyond the first paragraph.
I would say that it is as defamatory, if not worse than anything Tim Sherwood said. I hope the club took note. This is why I want this shit wrapped up, because when/if we are admonished these arseholes can't hide behind speculation and conjecture anymore. I get the feeling they're pushing as much bad press as they can, while they can.
Seen that. A whole hit piece hidden in plain sight behind the word “if”.

Freedom of the press used to mean something. Freedom to talk absolute hateful lies is what it must mean now.

It’s tiresome but the hate and contempt I have for these moral crusaders is burning just as bright.

Disgusting and it didn’t even make top article. Says no one cares anymore, tedious sanctimonious crap at best.

Why leave out "Snidey Matterface" ?
He was desperate for City to feck-up...
Not '7 semi finals in a row' but 'slipping and sliding down the table, out of the Champions League.....' Splatterface ends his comms script as he began it, jeering and sneering every negative the cartel media can come up with - only missing a 'na, na, na' at the end of each pathetic sentence. How do they get away with this level of blatant bias year after year?

Good article that and one that a lot on the match thread in particular should take something from. We’ve clearly got a squad that needs a lot of work and it was one season too many for quite a few. They are all absolute legends and I don’t begrudge them for some of the performances this seasons whatsoever, nor Pep for sticking with them for a year too long, which he’s known for a while now.

Our expectations are ridiculous and as much as that’s a good thing, we should never undervalue what these players have given us. They’ve earnt the sentiment from Pep and us to give them this season and I so hope they can bring home another trophy.

Hang on, a good article?
On bbc football online?
You sure?

I have a different view on that article. Yes, it's got the usual click-bait red shirt appeasing BS headline and it starts off as a hit-piece but the article basically concludes with saying that City being not guilty is the best all round outcome for football.

This is the paragraph: "Such thinking can provoke a thought that a City victory on all charges is the best outcome, if that is indeed the eventuality. That would preserve the memories of Guardiola's football in a purer form. That would be a landscape without asterisks. Without insufficient punishments. "

I read the article as he knows (or has heard strong rumours) that we've been cleared and is setting the scene for the press to all celebrate that being innocent closes the saga, removes the perceived tarnish on City's achievements in England (and Europe) and we can all move on with our heads held high. No doubt with some spin that this also restores the EPL's credibility within UEFA.

It was also a great summary of what a fantastic player Yaya was for us!

One of the better articles yet still a strange reluctance to acknowledge that City might have enjoyed a better season without so many injuries

I told you earlier all. If we win the cup against the backdrop of what has been by our standards an average season then the vitriole will be stronger than ever. City can't be allowed to win the cup at any costs..Remember it is all a narrative.
Enjoy your week blues. Let the haters hate.
papering over the cracks if win cup lol......look at united thats where city will be next season .... the football show just love it
