PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

the vitriol in media would be immense now if we were 2-3 points above dippers in the title race now. there would be negative articles 20 times more than now, trying to pull us down and hoping it could affect us negatively on the pitch.

Right, have something to get off my chest

All we are 'guilty' of is having an owner wanting to invest his own equity in to a business he owns. From the offset we have seen rules that were originally intended to alleviate debt problems in European football, used as a tool to clip the wings of ambitious owners wanting to compete with the elite. Every step of the way these rules have changed in line with our growth, simultaneously ensuring there will never be another like us.

If we have been 'creative' to allow our owner to spend his own money (not a crime) to better his asset, so be it. I'd rather we had done this than tow the line to the bent bastards who wanted us ruined - like Newcastle are having to now (watch Isak be cherry picked by one of them in the next year). The sport is about competing, it's the way taht clubs like Real, Bayern, Barca, United, Liverpool, Milan etc etc originally joined the top table, they just happend to be fortunate to be there when the TV money started rolling in.

We as a club, have never caused international outrage by killing fans of the opposition in a European Cup Final, engineered the break up of the old Football League to create the PL, or again with the Super League in 2021 for financial gain. We've never met in restaurants in New York to decide how we can prevent other clubs competing with us, & finally, we've always be more than happy to let our best players & personal join our rivals if they so wish, as we trust our own model. A model incidentally that everyone of the bent fuckers now try to imitate.

So whenever you read articles that live off the clicks of those that demand our downfall, or indeed have said people give you shit for supporting City - remind them of the above.

You lot should be relegated and it being a different owner shouldn’t have anything to do with it
It shouldn’t but it will if for no other reasons than not having access to RA or his records or indeed not being able to draw any conclusions from his non engagement.

Football 365 (which used to be a half decent site), headlines from the last 7 days alone...they are desperate for us to be guilty. It's mostly click bait, red meat for the frothing scousers, but I thought they were better.

I believe they have also called for a firing squad to deal with our directors.

Richard Keys has added to Rodney Marsh's view that City will win the case or as Keys says, 'fudged'.

From his blog from this weekend. Which as you will note was made after the PL shareholder meeting.

I’m hearing we’re not far off from learning the outcome to the 130 charges City have faced. The smart money has got to be on a fudge. Why do I say that? Well - a number of reasons really.

A big clue is Sky telling their pundits to go easy with their thoughts about the judgement. If City were going to get nailed I’m sure they’d be allowed to say what they like but I reckon their anger is going to have to be tempered.

Just as the British govt got deeply involved in the decision to allow the Saudi’s to take over at Newcastle, it’s a certainty they’ll have had something to do with the outcome in this case.

Boris Johnson didn’t want to piss MBS off - and Starmer can’t afford to fall out with the Emeratis. I might be wrong, but I don’t think so.

Keys isn't a serious commentator on the charges. For one thing, his employer influences his opinion, which consequently is extremely biased.

He speculates that Sky pundits are going to be angry when the outcome is announced. Why would they be angry? Both sides have put forward evidence before a highly experienced panel. Whatever the outcome is, an independent mind would have to agree that the process has been fair to both sides, and the outcome fair and accurate. True justice shouldn't cause anger.

Does he have evidence that the British government became involved in Newcastle's takeover? Does he have evidence that they have interfered in our case, advocating for City? Of course he doesn't. If we are cleared, I hope he's the first one to cry foul, and I hope he is the first one to have to pay heavily for his libellous vitriol.

But it’s admitted so we don’t need extra info they must have stuff
