Have a look who is involved with Clearlake capital, you may get a clearer answer on that.No. Our owner isn’t white
i'd guess their hoping rules will be in bin very shortlyThey're incapable of running a business organically, and will hit a wall at some point.
I'd be very concerned if the club I supported was making such short-term decisions to get through the back door of PSR.
One look at their financial statements is all you need to see that this was a last ditch attempt to get them over the line; what happens next time?
Chelsea are NOT circumventing any rules because the Premier League do not have any rules to prevent this. The PL wanted to introduce a rule to prevent it but it only 11 clubs voted for it (needing 14) and 9 against.
From Stefan's twitter:
PSR is a cumulative calc. and they now have a healthy profit in the books. Farce. The PL commission isn't going to make a comparison to Chelsea but it undermines the disciplinary process imo. They're incapable of running a business organically, and will hit a wall at some point.

penthouses all over londonHow much more have the chavs got to sell?
The strong rumours are they are gonna cop a big fine. The PL have lost the will to dock points anymore - unless of course we get bad news in the 130 case.In January the suggestion was that the matter would be resolved by 31/3
They definitely need to qualify for next season's champions league and they've the chance of winning the Club World Cup this summer. The 2 combined could be a c£200mil boost to their revenues and a major step in the right direction with what is still a very young squad. On what planet is it worth more than they paid?
Can't see anything on or off the pitch to suggest it's growing in the right direction.
No champions league football this season would batter them financially.
I’m hearing we’re not far off from learning the outcome to the 130 charges City have faced. The smart money has got to be on a fudge. Why do I say that? Well - a number of reasons really.
A big clue is Sky telling their pundits to go easy with their thoughts about the judgement. If City were going to get nailed I’m sure they’d be allowed to say what they like but I reckon their anger is going to have to be tempered.
Just as the British govt got deeply involved in the decision to allow the Saudi’s to take over at Newcastle, it’s a certainty they’ll have had something to do with the outcome in this case.
Boris Johnson didn’t want to piss MBS off - and Starmer can’t afford to fall out with the Emeratis. I might be wrong, but I don’t think so.
it's been in the back of my mind as well .would they really take the piss like that ?just over 1 hour to go before potentially the biggest comedy announcement of the season... tick tock... (BTW I'm not an ITK or indeed have any clue, just saying in case of Burton comparisons...)

If City did exactly the same as Chelsea there would be nothing the PL could do.No. Our owner isn’t white
as we expecting City to sell the new Hotel to CFG when its done then?If City did exactly the same as Chelsea there would be nothing the PL could do.
Maybe they’ve found some new hotels they can sell to themselves? On what planet is it worth more than they paid?
