TBH anything the media can throw at us to heap negativity on the club is jumped on. I'm sick and tired of accusations that our club cheats; rips off fans; has 'failed' this season because we've not won the league for the 5th consecutive time.....
There's no mention of the critical injuries to FIRST team players (not just squad players)
There's no mention of the action being taken by the fans of other clubs about tickets
There's no mention about the failure of other major clubs to win anything - all nice stuff about failing Arsenal for eg

for me, the ticket protest has come at the wrong time and I just want to go to matches to support our club and players - and to enjoy games with fellow fans

That’s the thing. He’s the face of the PL in all those countries, not just Qatar. The **** has a far larger pulpit than a tiny country in the GCC annoyingly and he only posts to “start the debate”. I don’t think he even knows the last time he said or wrote something he believed rather than trolling.

Totally agree, he’s a fucking clown. But, and a big but, having been there so long, and having the hear of the powers that be, there will be talk about the likely outcome and impacts to the PL.

I’m happy to sit back and watch, not getting riled up with all the partisan shite that they throw at the club. And when we hear whispers like this, my smile just gets wider ;-)
