I think we need to be honest about something.

There's a method to his madness and it getting the end product they want.

They know a good economy, opportunity attracts intellectuals, scientists, educated professionals and skilled immigrants. They also know no one immigrates to places with a shit economy like Zimbabwe.

So they have decided a weak America with a weak American economy is good for them as all the people they dislike will leave and they will have America all to themselves to rule and have their Nazi homeland.

That is their calculation and their deepest desire.. so do not be shocked that they're actually pursuing it. Cruelty on dark skinned people is not an error/ oversight.. it's a feature!

The smart people have already left.. I suspect most are planning to leave within a few years. Just like the migrants who were willing to walk snake infested jungles in South America for a chance at a better life.. so will we once we cross the realization that it's not a bug.. it's a feature and we can't save the country, only ourselves!

First of all, genetics plays a key role in predicting how long one will survive. And both of Trump's parents survived far longer than average (his Dad died at age 93, his mom at age 88).

Secondly, the take that Trump is incoherent/suffering from dementia/whatever - is frankly projection. I see no cognitive decline in Trump whatsoever.

Hard to spot when you can't string two sentences together in the first place.

It's extremely likely that Trump is both alive and cogent (at least insofar as he's ever been) in 2028.

I'm not sure where this fits in the argument but "Empire countries" often had to buy British. The Empire wouldn't allow indigenous locomotive manufacturing in India. 14,000 locos imported from the UK over nearly a century.

And those locos are still in use!

As noted above, I personally would say AP, though many of the business press I talk to are pretty down the middle. I probably have 1 reporter I speak with nearly every month, 3-4 once a quarter and a half dozen 1-2 times a year so its not like I am that in the know, especially on any topic other than my field of specialty.

I don’t mind too much if a news network leans in a particular direction, provided that they don’t tell actual lies. They also need to challenge outright untruths from their political friends. The problem I have with current main stream media in the US is that they are rather selective in what they cover rather than being more comprehensive. I wonder how many of them, for example, covered the Supreme Court election in Wisconsin before the earth shaking result.
